I have Version 7 of windows Internet Explorer on my system. Windows XP service pack 3. When I click on it , all I get is another shortcut on the desktop. If I right click on the main icon,all that comes up is.

Hi, So Let's say I have two offices in the east and west coast (shouldn't matter). The west coast office is on subnet A and East coast is on subnet B. The West Coast has a fractional T1, 1 server and 8 users w/o firewall support (since its mitigated by east coast office) and on domain: abc.

no sound driver on laptop or computer

hi all a couple of problems. . . 1st. . both my desktop and laptop seem to be missing a sound device and/or driver. i need to know how to fix this problem. 2nd. . i tried installing realtek ac97 audio software and it has somehow removed the cd drive on the laptop.

Custom install CD with extra drivers?

Is there any way to add drivers to the XP installation so I could finally get rid of the goddamn legacy 3. 5 floppy drive? I'm trying to install XP on a serial ata hdd but it won't be recognised unless I give the drivers on a floppy disk(not even a USB floppy will do).

Hi everyone. I was trying yesterday to install FFVII on my computer. It's a windows XP, and I haven't played the game in years and years. Now, I haven't tried installing patches yet, but when I start it up, I install and get all the required installations then get maximum install, and it all is fine.

error 0xc0000005 with Dungeon Keeper 2 and Gold ve

Hi, I am new, so I hope I do it correct. I installed Dungeon Keeper 2 and Dungeon Keeper Gold on my Windows Vista Laptop. Both installations worked fine, although with the Gold version the first 2 times an errorbox appears giving the message that the Windows at least had to be Win2000 or XP of higher.

Dungeon Keeper Gold on Vista?

Hi. . Just found my old copy of DK: Gold, but it doesn't run. I was wondering if it's because I've updated to vista? It installs, and begins to load (gets to the screen with the demon guy, and product info) then it minimizes, and closes.

2 wireless lans each with it's own internet connection. Each lan is setup with a different subnet 192. 168. x. x I want to Put a Client radio at Lan 1 , have it connect to lan 2's AP so the members from each lan can access Apache and other servers across this new link.

i reformat my computer last month until now i dont hav any sounds coming out of my speaker and i cant find my driver but in the device manager there is a unknown pci device but i know its my sound card but i cant install it i tried different driver to install it realtek,asus,via etc etc but i cant find it pls help ...

I can install the game fine and have downloaded the most recent DirectX. When I press Play Monkey Island it says DirectX Setup I install it it says it has done it then I press play adn it doesnt work.

When i load the contents of a folder from My Music Media Player puts the first track(file) at the end of the play list and the last track at the begining. Does anyone know how i can stop this annoyance.

I've been experiencing something rather odd with the HP Color LaserJet 2600n printers on our network, lately. Ocassionaly, they don't print out Excel files. All other applications print the jobs just fine, but not Excel.

My buddies Dad has a had a new labtop for about half a year now and hasn't had a girlfriend or wife for years. Needless to say he's been looking at unsafe webpages and his computer has been randomly shuting down and is running slow.

Ra2 please help

I tried to install Ra2 again and i nevver had problems with it. but anyways as soon as i put in the CD to install u get the pop up. i push install and then its loads and just puts me back in my desktop Ra2 will keep on running and is still in my workbar and i can click on it.

I've tried everything short of nuking the hd and re-installing Windows. The BIOS settings are all fine and drivers installed for the audio but still no sound. Windows DXDIAG shows no audio card present as does other 3rd party programs i have used to detect system information.
