Trying to get AOL to work

Unrealistic
I loaded AOL and it seems to work fine except, no sound with IM'S and I cannot stop it from trying to load Real Player as an update. Any one have any advice as to how I can fix these two things? PIII650 @ 728 Abit BE6-2 256MB PC 100 TnT2 32MB Ultra.

Highpoint HPT366 Driver Question

I have a question on the Highpoint HPT 366 driver. . . . Does anyone know if it will still lockup like it did in win98 when you copy big files in windows 2000?? I hope it did. Reply.

Anyone got problems with voodoo3 retail drivers for win2k

At first, the retail drivers seems to work. Now I almost always get a black screen when loading half-life, quake 3 or unreal tournament. Sometimes I can start the game, but if i try to change the player, controls or graphic driver then the black screen comes up again.

My roommate is running WIN2k, just like me. But when he goes to Start/search/for people, he has an option to search different web sites. When I do it, I only get contact list Did i not install / enable something? BoDEAN.

System just restarts out of clear blue?!

Anybody else having this problem? Without warning, my system has just shut down and restarted maybe 3 times now. Just like that! One minute up and running, the next minute BEEP! I dunno. ********************************************** -Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.

Dual Monitor Drivers for Riva 128ZX on Windows 2000

I have a TNT2 Ultra as my primary video card,and b/c the WinNT 4. 0 drivers for the Riva 128ZX do not support dual monitors, win2k freezes on startup. Does anyone know of any drivers for the 128ZX in beta or that have been modified to support the dual monitor configuration?.

Nvidea + Q3A win2k

Has anyone tested the leaked nvidea 5. xx drivers that enable texture compression? If so did they work on smp enabled quakeIII? Currently i am using the asus 379b1 windows 2000 beta drivers, and they work fine when r_smp is 0 but not 1.

Norton Antivirus 7 for Win2k Setup error message

I uninstalled the old virus scanning prog that I was using to give Norton Antivirus 7 for Win2k a spin. When I dbl click on setup. exe. . . it prepares the install shield and then when that is done I get, Norton Antivirus Server Setup cannot be run in interactive mode.

Q3 lighting

I cant seem to ajust the lighting properly in Q3. The slider in the graphics option menu moves in either direction all the way, but the lighting only ajusts a fraction of what it should. Anyone else run into this? I am using a GeForce DDR by guillemont.

Im missing the 'standby' option in the shutdownmenu. . how come? I've messing around with the power options, but no luck. Works ok in w98. K7M board. .
