C/C++ Compiler's??

I have just tried to install Borland C++ 4. 52 and couldnt get it to work. Are there any C/C++ compilers that do work ok (that are ideally old and/free!) with win2k? I know that Borland have a command line version that is free, but I'd rather have a GUI.

Heroes III Millennium Edition in Win2k

I'm have a problem with Heroes III Millennium Edition in Win2k. During the install, the installer crashes out at random points during the file copy process. I have no idea why it would be doing this, i've installed many other applications with no problem(so it ain't the cd drive).

Is there anyone who can run Midtown Madness on a GeForce (or any TNT, TNT2) with drivers after 3. 53? Every driver I have tried makes Midtown Madness look terrible, textures falling apart. It used to work with 3.

Hi, I have my drive partitioned to C: D: E: F: where C is my boot partition , D is for win2k, E for win98 and F for data. recently I added a drive and it became D: and moved my win98 to F:, I can boot to w2k alright but when I choose to boot win98, it said it cannot find certain files in D: drive and refuse to boot 98.

Just upgraded pc to Win2K Pro. . . The Nec 4 Disk Changer will only see the firt tray. Went to Nec site, Drive is non suported by them, furthermore I did not even see any Win2K driver support on the nectech site at all.

Using Detonator 5. 13 I´ve not been able to run GLQuake (well, it ran, but rather slowly and with some of the most perverted distorted graphics I´ve ever seen). Downgrading to 3. 65 didn´t fix the problem either.

Quake2 CTF laggy in win2000. help!

Quake2 CTF is laggy in win2000. I play through my network card connected to a isdn router. I do not experience this lag in win98se at the same site. Are there some network settings that can be changed to fix this problem? Does anybody else have this problem with frame drops online? Single plater Quake2 plays smooth ...

Sound Blaster PCI 64 onboard and standby mode in Win2k

My onboard SB PCI 64 chipset works fine in Win2k. . . but when i go to standby mode, and then resume my computer, sound isn't available anymore. . . The sound driver seems to have vanished and sound apps hang whenever i try to launch one of them.
