Hi, I am trying to upgrade from Windows 2000 Professional to Windows 2000 Server. . . the reason why is just for the other neeeded IIS 5. 0 features. . . and i am not planning on upgrading to Advanced Server because it is said that it doesn't support OpenGL, but now lets get to the point.

HD Partition size for Win2000 pro

I have a new HardDisk (20GB) and I want to make two Partitions on it. I will assign partition 1 as NTFS formated and bootable for Win2000 Pro. How big capacities (GB) is Max. capacity for this partition? Can I assign this partition over 10GB and can install and boot win2000 Pro from it?.

Win 98 on top of NT

HI i'm currently running NT 4. 0 my system end would like to install win 98 on the same hard drive. I have been told by some that you cannot install 98 after NT, WIN 98 should have been installed first.

Can anyone get this to install? For me, when I start up the installer, it goes to the create disks screen and starts asking for floppies and I can't accept the licence agreement to install PM. If I finish creating both floppies it jusy says the installation is done, but it hasn't done anything except create those 2 ...

Which sound cards actually work in Windows 2000 with a minimum or no trouble? I just yanked my Montego II Quadzilla out because I spent pretty much all of 4 days wasting time trying different things trying to get it to work.

HP Printer problems

I have a HP printer and every time I print somthing off the web while i'm on line I loose my connection to the web. I'm running NT 4. 0 SP 6A with 256 of ram. This never happend to me on win 95,98. I have the latest drivers for my printer.

Hey all - I just formatted and installed Win2k, but whenever I try to install my Voodoo 2 drivers (whether from 3DFX or the Win2K default drivers) it keeps saying 'An error occures - The specified file could not be found' Could someone help me figure this out - I just need to get these drivers installed! Thnx.
