Windows 2000 Hates MX300's

OK, I have sorted out the problem with the IRQ Steerin, thank GOD, but my MX300 still cuts out after a few seconds. Does anybody know why? I have the new BETA Aureal Drivers, and still the Damn thing refuses to function correctly.

Voodoo 3 3000 AGP on Win2k (Urgent !)

Well i am usuing Win2k and Voodoo 3 3000 AGP and it just don't run games. Games work fine untill two weeks ago and then Boom they don't work, i tryied reinstall drivers but it don't work, At EA 3dSetup i can't see my Voodoo anymore but i see just Software Rander That isn't good.

Cdrom "skips"

Very annoying problem I never really had in win9x: The cdrom refuses to read certain cd's that do work on other pc's (Intel based. . ) the cdrom itself is fine cause i placed it in a different pc (intel) and it worked fine with cds i cant run on my system (amd).

Hi ! After installation of Detonator 2 Driver (5. 22) from the Nvidia Site SOF gives me this error message on startup: GLimp_End Frame-Swap Buffer Failed ????!?? MDK2 runs fine. . . . hope you can help.

You guys are probably going to think I'm crazy trying to do this, but oh well. . . I need to share a folder across the internet using a Win2k Pro box. The folder contains some data files that need read/write access.

Hi ! Is anybody out there get running 5. 22 and SOF ??? I want to know it if its possible. . . on my machine it doesn´t run. If there is someone running this combination i want to reinstall Win2k. .

ello! I have tried to install Personal Web Server v4. 0 off my Win98 disc but it won't install it says that teh installer need Win95 to work. Can I get this to work in Win2k? or is there some kinda fix to this? or a better way of hosting webpages in Win2k prof? Thanks Dave.

Ground Control - Direct X 7.0a?

Trying to install ground control, in win2k pro, and it wants me to put on directx 7. 0a to work properly. Says it isnt installed. Do i need this? I thought win2k already had this version. Help Carbon Copy 32 in win2k!

Ive just installed my carbon copy 32 V5. 0 in my machine. but when I configure to connect to my remote machine in dialup network, it says that Dial-up Networking is not installed on your system. To use this feature, you must install the Dial-up networking component shipped with windows.

Moin, Moin !!!!! Folgenden Absturz habe ich beim Automatischen Active Directory Setup während er ziemlich am Ende etwas Sichern will. Ich habe schon mehrmals neu Installiert (ohne erfolg!!), auch änderungen der Netzwerk Konfiguration brachte kein Erfolg.

Running win2k pro final. . network is set up the following way: win2k machine is client on a two computer network. win98se machine is the host (i've yet to purchase a win2k compliant modem). Generally, i've had no problems with the network.

Is there anybody who knows where i can find software to use Wake On Lan. On the motherboard (BE6-2) i have a cable connected to the nic. But now i want to know how i use Wake On Lan. I use Windows 2000 en Millenium Beta 1.

Anyone have that EAX.DLL for Final Fantasy VIII?

I installed Final Fantasy VIII on Windows 2000. IT installs fine But the game won't run without EAX. DLL file in my WINNT\SYSTEM folder. I did get the updated patch but that didn't help. They have the unified EAX drivers but it always executed an error.
