Would anyone know why I can burn to CDRW but not to CDR? I've tried at least 6 different brands of CDR, and get the same errors with all of them. I get buffer underrun, power calibration area errors, and the like.

ok you announced or someone did that they had drivers I had downloaded those exact same drivers a long time back. They dont work when you scan it crashes. what is it with scanners they are always crashing.

I was check out all new PowerVCRII & look at what I found Real WDM drivers for Windows2000 there all so there other TV card drivers for Windows2000 as well you want to check. asp Tip on install the Hauppauge WinTV Win2k WDM drivers.

After the crappy release of Creative's Dxr3 Win2000 drivers, I was rather discouraged that I would ever get my DVD running outside of the NT4 drivers with beta Hollywood drivers. Well today I finally decided to experiment with them and I figured out how to get them to work.

Greetings Win2K Gurus. . . Shortly I am going to buy 2 new CuMine Pentium III CPUs for my new MSI 6946 Pro (VIA 133A Chipset) Dual CPU motherboard. I'd prefer to use the 133MHz FSB models, and the minimum CPUs I would consider is a pair of PIII 733's.

Does anyone know how to rip a CD in MP3 format at 64k/44khz? When you select 64k in MusicMatch it automatically goes to 22khz. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

nvidia tech demo wont run

Hi, I have just downloaded the nvidia tech demo (gothic chapel) and when run it switches the screen into the correct resoultion and then quits back to windows. I am running 5. 30 on my elsa x i havent had any other problems really.

New Athlon system problems, but way worse this time...

For 2 days now, my newly acquired Athlon system, which worked great for about a week or so, freezes randomly. I suspected this was due to a lack of cooling or the 235W power supply. So I bought a 300W power supply, 2 additional case cooling fans and a bigger CPU cooler, but it all didn't help.

My system is perfectly stable, until I enable my second network card. System just up and reboots. . . anyone have any suggestions. I am running Win2k and it's a realtek NIC. I even just did a fresh windows install and still having problem.

Any clues, it is ratger annoying, but DXdiag and other report as normal. I searched for answers on TechNet and nothing. It doen't matter if it's oc or not. Just asking to see if anyone has noticed this and I don't want to use standard PC setup which I've heard detects the cpu correctly.

Apparently, you can play Commandos - Behind Enemy Lines on Windows NT4 if you copy the cd on to your hard drive, and run the commando. exe from there. The only problem is that you can't save during the missions.
