Lockup with TNT2 Ultra and Win2000

No matter what DirectX game I play in Windows 2000 after a couple of minutes of play my system locks up. I have to use the reset switch to get out it is that bad. I am using Detonator2 version 5. 22 with my TNT2 Ultra.

Even with the latest patches et al CCTP does not work - It loads off the disk, you can here it, and the screen goes black, the timer mouse pointer comes up and the the PC reverts to Windows 2kPro as if nothing had sjust happened.

IE 5.5 and Norton AV 2k! Incompatible?

I have NAV2k running on my Win2k rig, so I decided to install IE 5. 5 Now I get crashes and event log errors from IE 5. 5. Uninstall IE and everything is fine. I reinstalled over the weekend, put IE 5.

yes, it's me, it's jdulmage, back again. . . anyways, in Windows 2000 when I try to run Soldier of Fortune, it just boots out of the game right away and says something like GLimp_SwapBuffers() or something stupid.

C&C: Red Alert using IPX on windows 2000

Ive got 2 machines on a peer-to-peer network, one running win2kpro, and the other win98. When arriving at the multiplayer menu in Red Alert - on the win2kpro pc - I dont get the 'network' option, which the manual blames on faulty/absent ipx drivers.

Cheap cards for multi-monitor mode under 2k

I have a problem with multi-monitors under Win2k. No S3 cards work. The SIS card I have is not compatible. Are there any cheap video cards that ACTUALLY work in multi-mode. I just want a damn video card that won't cost me my wallet and sanity.

Ugh, First off i had Windows ME on my system with the latest beta of wmp 7, which i then upgraded the OS to w2k. Everything went smoothly except wmp7 always gave me the dll error The application or DLL c:\windows\system32\msdmo.

I just clean installed Windows 2000 on my PC and my Nvidia TNT2 Ultra card is extremely unstable. The official Nvidia Microsoft drivers cause the OS to freeze on startup After about 20-30 minutes of normal OS use such as browsing folders, installing programs or browsing the internet, with the latest Detonator 2 v5.
