Windows 2000, TNT2 & Uptime

How long have you been able to keep your Windows running before it crashes with NVidia's drivers? I had over two weeks with Matrox G200 (had to reboot machine to install new software, so it did'n crash) Now with Asus TNT2 longes period is 5 days.

Unlike anything on the 9x kernel (even that shi*ful winME) windows 2000, if successfully installed and left alone will sit and run quite well without any random errors or lockups ...

Non accessible SCSI Disk

I have many troubles installing W2k. First setup wasn't able to detect my Adaptec 21160 SCSI controller. I have plugged it to a new slot and then it was detected. But now, setup cannot access the my WDE18300 SCSI disk.

Another question, I have a 56k USR voice modem. Again under Win98 I could download from my newsclient (Newsgrabber), retrieve files through Getright and surf through IE5 - albeit slowly!!! Anyway, in W2K if I'm using IE5 I can also use OE5, but if I'm using either Newsgrabber or Getright, IE5 or OE5 can't establish ...

IE 5.01 lock up & high CPU usage

For as long as I've been running Win2k Pro, sometimes after using IE 5. 01 for a while the browser will lock up and the CPU usage will be stuck around 55% or so until I close the window, which it then says is not responding.

Ok, here's the deal here in our Corporate Office we are currently in the process of migrating from NT4 to 2K Server. . . . . but recently one of our regional offices has been recieving a system error on two of there client machines that are connected to a 2K Server.

(well, at least the website) For the past few weeks, I've been constantly trying to access then finally. . . Now I feel more relieved. Hopefully, new w2k drivers will be released soon. People can now stop buying crappy creative hardware.
