monitor acting strange

my monitor looks like it's covered by yellow colored filter. can't figure out what caused this strange behavior. . anyone knows how to fix this? TIA.

How do I get Device Controls to appear in my Audio hq. Right now, it isn't there, and I reinstalled it three times. I am trying to change the number of wavs to play at one time, but cant if I dont have that.

Win2K/SBLive problem

Playing Dungeon Keeper2 in Win2K Pro, the sound gets screwy. It sounds like two sound files are playing at the same time. Any ideas? System specs: Athlon 700(with 800 core) 256megsPC133 Epox 7KXA mobo Voodoo5 5500 AGP SB Live X-gamers Realtek 8139 NIC Adaptec 2940AU SCSI PCI.

Is there a good site where I can find a complete listing of Windows 2000 DUN/RAS/VPN Error Codes (ie: error 629, error 651, error 718, etc)? Or, does anyone have this list handy to post or email? Thanks.

Hi there, I am new to this kind of stuff. I went from Win 3. 1 to 95 on a different computer. Then I went from 95 to 98 on the same computer, but there were few peripherals, applications, and files I need to worry about.

A7V + Geforce 256 + Win2k sp1 = STABLE!

Well boys and girls, after endless tinkering with my new A7V system, I've finally achieved 100% stability in all programs. I'm able to run all my games without any Geforce lockups. Just thought some people would like to know how to achieve this miraculous feat.

NFS Porsche issue!!!

Have another issue, I fully installed it (500meg) and it loads just fine but when i go to play 'Porsche Test Driver' after the first race when i press esc to go to the second race windows2k does a memory dump and restarts my computer, does it everytime.

I recently got the new ZoneAlarm, and it's been asking me about certain system apps, and I'm wondering which ones to block, if any. LSASS. EXE seems to be using port isakmp, which, to my understanding, is some sort of security protocol.

Cubase 5 + Win2000

Has anyone had success in running cubase 5 under Windows 2000? Its supposed to be supported but when I run it I get a very strange kernel32. dll error. Could be a SMP thing, or liveware3, who knows.

Sorry to be a little provocative. Everyday we see more and more topics related to Win9x and Me, without anything to do with NT compatibility. Next step would be game console discussion? Admins, maybe time has come either to open a new section dedicated to Win9x or to ban such threads.
