Ok. . I've read that some people can get Unreal Tournament working with the new nvidia drivers(3. 53) on RC2. Am i doing something wrong? I have the latest drivers and UT still doesn't 'work'. I mean, it loads up but once the level gets started, everything seems to be un-lightmapped.

I CANNOT get my Creative Labs 3d Blaster TNT2 Ultra to work in 2k! I am build 2128 with DX7. I belive I've patched dx7. I Am STILL getting the error The procedure entry point GetAliasedvidMem could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.

i've studied this forum now and can't come to a condlusion. . does r_smp 1 for quake work in any combination with win2k or not. . . some say it would have worked with tnt2 ultra >then it has to be a driver problem!! which driver works for a tnt2?? with smp?? or does quake3 just not work with win2k smp??.

This may seem strange to some of you, but I am having a slight problem getting my video card to work correctly under RC2. This machine is a Dell Precision Workstation 410MT, dual P2-400, STB Velocity 4400 (TNT) running version 3.

I am running a dual P2 400, scsi 3 system, and build 2151 seems to be hogging up my cpu time, some file called csrss. exe? Its like my computer is lagging. This is not the performace my machine is capable of? Any ideas?.

Yet to be posted to NTBeta, Microsoft is not expected to deem the new beta build of Windows 2000 Release Candidate 3 (RC3). Contrary to what was mentioned earlier by ********. Com, Microsoft has only decided to post another build for beta testing before RC3.

Hey if u got a tnt1 w/ win2k rc1+, and ur ADVNACED button located in SETTINGS tab under display properties works send me ur desk. cpl file which is located in x:\winnt\system32 it is a control panel extension file.

Your list says that mechcommander will not install on NT 4. 0 unless you copy it to the hard drive from (windows95/98)? What do you mean by this? I have tried several different copies with the same result, CANNOT INSTALL! Help!.

Logitech Quickcam Home USB problems (long...I need help)

I have W2K RC2 build 2128. 192MB ram, etc. I put the Quickcam CD in and it autoplays and generates an error file right away. Ok, so I run the setup. exe file and it starts installing. Now it asks me to plug in the camera, which causes W2K to start installing the camera drivers, etc.

I am having a problem using my ISDN device in Win2k. The ISDN TA is a Zyxel ISDN omni. net LCD. When I try to connect to my isp with both B-channels (128kbit), the connected tray icon shows that I am connected in 64kbps, although I have declared in the modem protocol that I want 128kbps and both channels enabled.

Voodoo Banshee trouble

I've just installed W2K RC2 a few days ago, but I can't get any of my games to work with Voodoo Banshee. I have tried the drivers from and the manual from this site plus the Voodoo3 drivers, but none of it works with my games.

Fellas no offense but if ur new to comptuers dont try to run software that isnt officially released or supported. I mean I hear the goofiest questions being asked sometimes, and ridiculous unfounded statements being made.

Viper 770 TNT2 Ultra - No games!!!

Just can't seem to get Win 2000,2151 to use my V770 Ultra with any games. . My V2 works just fine with Q3A and N3, but I want to use the superior 770. I'm assuming it's a OpenGL problem, because in N3 it returns: rasterBegin Fail, and with Q3A it won't even show up as a video option.

Hi. . I'm running Win2KPro build 2151 installed on E:\ I've updated my ViperV770Ultra drivers to the latest one and also the directx7 for Win2k i can also run dxdiag. exe now and direct3d and the AGP is detected.

All-in-Wonder Pro & NetMeeting

I have several machines running RC2 with All-in-Wonder Pro video adapters. There seems to be no support for any of the AIW features except the display. I need to use NetMeeting. The device manager indicates the presence of WDM TV tuner, TV Audio, Video Audio Crossover Bar and Video Capture For AIW.
