I have Windows ME, now when I go to Play Unreal, or UT, I get a general Protection fault error, now I went to the Unreal website, they said to install Direct X off the Unreal CD to combat this, however ME comes w/ DirectX 7.

How do I get Windows Explorer to stop starting in the My Documents folder everytime I start windows explorer to look at all my files and folders? I want it so it starts with nothing showing basicly, so just my C drive is present.

SB live drivers + Win2K = Power management problems

After installing Liveware 3. 0 drivers (only not full apps) i have many power management problems that i never had before. Inability to wake from the standby mode is one of them. Did you ever encounter such problems on your setups and if so do you have some solution.

Hey my friend installed win2k with ntfs And he wants FAT32 back. How can we remove ntfs i have go into fdisk but that cant do it i tryed to format the ntfs partition but it says not supported any ideas?.

When i try to install whistler 2276 i get all kinds of missing files. I tell it to skip these but it ****s up afterwards. It seems to be RMI files and some other ones. . Am i doing something wrong or did i get a bad copy?? Thanks, Sparkhard.

Alrighty, I have learned how to deploy programs from Group Policy in windows 2000. I have been using Office 2000 to learn because it's already nicely set up with the data1. msi file. I set it up to be Assigned in the software settings/Software installation of computer configuration.

PCI-X. Do we really need this?

Looks like we'll have to change our PCI cards for a new bus. No matter the fact PCI-X cards will still work under old PCI buses. The truth about this is that we will have to face another PCI to AGP like migration, or ISA to VESA.

Heavy Metall - FAKK2: Can't find cd!!!

I can install the game just fine, but when I go to play it, to start a new game, It asks for the cd! I thought it was because it wasn't in the firt CD drive, but when i changed the drive letters it still didn't work! Even after a restart! grrrrrr Any ideas? brainsoft, & Co-Administrator.

When I try to install ANYTHING I get this error: System\CurrentControllSet\Config\VirtualDeviceDrivers. vdd. Virtual driver format in the registry is invalid. The choices are: Close or Ignore. If I pick Close then the installation aborts but if I click ignore the installation goes fine and the application works.

I run windows 2k on my p2 400 laptop and it runs flawlessly. My only problem is that this laptop only has a 4mb video card. I was wondering if there is any software or anything i can do so my video card can share or use some of my normal pc ram.
