Game resolution all out of wack??

I have a panasonic toughbook (laptop) and it works perfect for almost everything i use it for. My only question is the resolution settings are all out of wack. It displays 800x600 just fine in windows and all that stuff.

Missed animated mouse cursor in IE5

I have IE5. 01 +SP1 in Win2000+SP1 but somehow i missed animated hourglass mouse cursor while a web page renders itself. I must move the mouse cursor on toolbar to see it as hourglass, otherwise it became the simple known arrow.

is there a way to restore the registry?

there was an option like this in win98 where u can restore the registry as windows backs it up everyday, can u do it with win2k? 2 Computers (networked)both have : Intel SE440BX2 Pentium III 700Mhz (100) LS-120 120 Mb (100MHz) Fujitsu 17.

Hi, bit of a stupid question, but once I have downloadsed all the service Packs etc for 2k where r they stored?, so I can back em up for next time i format????? and also I have edited the boot screen (NICE) but where r the bmps for the shutdown and other screens any help would be cool,

startup programs (systray?) loads slow

I dont know the english word for the startup items loading in the systray ? (volume, graphicscard icon etc etc) Upon starup, everything goes very fast, until the systray is suppose to load, then the system halts for about 10 seconds before the icons appear.

Canon N1220 Scanner USB won't work

I have a abit kt7/raid 256megs pc-133 creative geforce2 gts servicepack 1 and via driver update scanner won't run it starts to calibrate but stops and then scanner shuts down. Canon said there could be a power problem.

i got a T-bird 800 and a Asus A7V(KT133) a couple of weeks ago. it runs fine in Win2k(except for AGP4x. ) but in 98 it says that i have errors on all my PCI cards. (sound, Modem, and NIC) it says that i need to enable the IRQ in the bios i'm not sure what it means, but my friend has the same problem on his system.

KT7 RAID and g400 dh worked before, now it doesn't?

Specs: ABit KT7 Raid Creative Cd RW and a 50x cd rom matrox g400 dh ibm ata 100 45 gb hd I have had this system running with sound network, dv and a modem. The DV card was having problems with irq sharing so i turned off acpi and pnp os and reinstalled all win2k divers.

There are versions mentioned in numerous thread titles, but I unfortunately don't have time to read through them all. The last version I used was 2250 which was very buggy, but showed great promise! I see reference to 2276 and 2267 and other numbers.
