Best ATA-100 card?

Currently im running on ATA33 and am planning on upgrading to ATA100 when I get my new 45gb ibm deskstar hdd which is ata100 capable. I have heard ata100 is actually good and has some performance inrease, unlike ata66 over ata33.

Hi Guys, I need a graphic converting files that can convert a wmf to jpg. I want to convert a whole cd of wmf to jpg. So I want a file that can be run as a batch file. Is there any site where i can find it.

Multiple Desktops

Ya know how Linux has that nice feature that allows you to switch between several desktops? Is there any 3rd party software out there that gives you that feature? Might MSOFT include this useful feature in Whistler? I know they have included that desktop icon on the quicklaunch bar.

loose sound in Red Alert 2

When i play Red Alert 2 my sound will sometimes leave. I cant hear any sounds untill i restart windows. I have an aureal Vortex 2. anyone else have this problem ?.

Problem Using MS Proxy for Netscape Navigator

Dear friends i had installed MS proxy 2. 0 in a NT server. I configured it for some clients. When i tried to work with IE 5. 5 from client machine which is win98 it is quite well. But when i configured Netscape for proxy and try to open a site.

ATI All-In-Wonder 128 Videocards--any problems?

Radeon VIVO - DVD to TV out

I am using a ATI Radeon 64mb card with VIVO and when I go to watch a dvd on my TV with the composite out (yellow wire) I get the macrovision signal p***ed thought the card and on to my TV. This is no fun, and I would really not like to have to buy a stand alone decoder card.

need boot sector help rapid!!

dear knowledgeable ones, I have had to fdisk my primary partition since it died on me last week, however, along with the fdisk went my boot loader for 2k server. I have tried to do a repair but the installer won't find 2k and I have lost the emergency disk.

install problems with live5.1 on Win2k

Hi All I am having a load of problems having Win2k recognize my SB Live platinum card. I installed the software in the intall CD and rebooted and everytime the Hardware wizard comes up. It is as if the SB drivers do not get installed.
