Upgraded from 98 to Win2K a while back and everything was smooth. I have recently got a new PIII system with an Asus P3V Board and Win2K (fresh) installs fine but I get a conflict between my Asuscom ISDN Card and my Geforce 2 GTS.

How do I get games to recognize?

Is there a way, to import part of the registry into a new account in win2k? Right now, i have all my apps/games installed under adim. I want to make a poweruser account for gaming, but when I do, and go in under that, none of the saved info is in the game (reg #s, etc).

Packaging a computer monitor for a train ride.

I'm moving to Northen California , and I'm going ot take the train. I will, of course, be taking my ***-to- I mean, computer, and I wanted some input on transporting the monitor. I can throw the box in the box it came in, and check it, but the monitor is a 20 HP, and weighs a couple tons.

hello. . . my new hdd will not work. . :C its an ibm dtla 307030. its connected to a udma66 controller (htp366 onboard on an abit bp6) but when i wanted to start win2k it stops. . . i've read that i had to reinstall win2k, with new hardware.

DMA not working in Win2K /w MVP3 Chipset

I've had a hell of a time trying to get DMA to work on my hard drive in Windows 2000. I know for sure that both the mobo and the hard drive support it, as my BIOS Information Screen registers Primary Master as using UDMA.

Network Workgroup problems --- Help Appreciated!

Having some problems with my workgroup - which is weird because I'm pretty sure I have everything set up right. I have a Windows 2000 Server box and a Windows 2000 Professional box both a member of the same WG, called EUROPA and both have distinct statically ***igned IP addresses, with the same subnet mask.

I'm trying to hookup a CU-98 webcam and I'm getting a generic error message at the end of the install of the drivers. I've even tried adding the drivers in SAFE MODE and the drivers will still not install 100%.

hi all: i do have 2 3com 905b-tx on the win2000pro and win98se. the network does work and i can share the internet connection. But the file transfer between them are very slow. it takes 4 mins to transfer 15M file.

I'm seeing a unkown device in my device manager. I recently set-up dual-boot for win2k and 98se, i don't think thats the problem, but i never had it before. Here is what device says in win2k: Unknown PCI Device, in 98se it says: PCI System Management-Bus Unknown Device.

I use Whistler BETA1 with Corel 10 installed. I also have a shared printer on a Windows NT4 Server. I now wanted to print out of Corel 10, but it says that the printer is offline, or I should re-install the drivers of it.
