Does anyone with a KT133 motherboard and W2K have UDMA?

I have an Epox EP-8KTA2 with an IBM 75GXP DTLA703020 hard drive. The fastest IDE hard drive made and I am stuck at PIO4 transfer mode. A whopping 16Mb/s transfer rate. I previously had Win98 installed and had UDMA in the ATA100 form.

HP 9110i cd-rw not working with win2k?

My friend has great problems using his new HP 9110i in win2k. In device manager, it says HP CD-Writer+ 9100, and regular cdrom usage is fine, but it just wont burn anything. Can you help us out? thanks for any info.

Baldurs Gate 2 and other D3D games constantly hangs on my W2k machine. I have a nVidia TNT2 M64 card with Det6. 49, a SBLive!1024 with the newest drivers. Usually the sound starts to loop and the game hangs the system.

About a week ago i added 128 sdram in my box and now i'm with 224 mb ram. Very oddly about the same time (i, honestly am not sure exactly before or after) i started getting random hard locks and some pixels distortion.

Setting different DMA mode in Windows 2000

Does anyone know how to change DMA mode between 0-2 in Windows 2000? My bios doesn't allow to change them, only enable / disable. Iäm having strange freezes with Plextor 8/4/32 ide drive with DMA mode on.

All is actually going very well (apart from a few of the Win9x clients disconnecting themselves for some unknown reason & licensing being all screwey, you have 10 illegal connections but 15 licenses still available???) ...

hi i was wondering if anyone else in here has ever tried using there earthlink dsl service with win2k. i am considering using win 2k instead of 98 but the connection software that you have to run with earthlinks dsl doesnt support it.

I have some problem with a disk. In 2k it says it isnt formatted but when I run a 98 start disk and run scandisk it finds a hole lot of errors, I relly need to get a hold of this files. Are there any recovery tools for win2k that I can use because when I run scandisk for dos (dont got 98) I have to click thruu like ...

Best Surround Sound Speakers?

I am looking to upgrade my speakers, but have no idea which ones are the best. I really want surround sound with 4 to 5 speakers. Preferably 5, but if there is a 4 speaker sound system that gives out better sound, then I'll go with that.

Situation: 4 Terminal Servers Each pair doing virtual IP. Each sending out a 15k broadcast packet every second. TCP/IP is the protocol being used, so no NetBeui (which uses Broadcast packets). I need to get these 15k packets stopped! How do I do this? Anybody have any documentation?.

well. i did what dosfreak said in the below message. . . and it burned ok. but it isn't booting. . . i have IDE CDrom so it should boot. . and with original win2k CD. . it booted. . but my custom sp1 cd won't.
