Freezing in Win2k?

I upgraded my generic Pentium II 300 with 128 mb ram and Voodoo 3 2000 to a P III 750, I kept the same motherboard which is the Matsonic MS7112C Via Apollo Pro. After I upgraded my processor my computer has been freezing at least 3-5 times a day.

Hi everyone, Our company is running NT 4. 0 as Domain Controller and I'm running Windows 2000 Pro on my desktop. If I let my PC to join the Domain, I can't control my PC (insufficient rights). However, I've added myself in the Administrators group in the Domain.

Question about Firewall

I have a question. Is Firewall necessary for home users? From what I've been told, you install Firewall for security reason like to keep someone from hacking into your system. I think that a hacker is more likely to hack into some computers in a corporation or something than into a home user.

I have a Win2k Pro machine which has 3 Maxtor HDD's setup as 1 spanned volume. It's 2 40Gig and 1 60Gig. I just added the 60Gig and ever since I've had nothing but problems. I'm at the point now where I believe the OS is pretty much trashed.

Hey, just got Win2000, and just curious to see what people favorite tips are. I play mostly games, and use a Radeon. So if there are any speed tweaks, for the system in general, or for my Radeon send them this way! I already got DX8, and Win2000 drivers.

Many of the games listed as compatible with NT4 require the dx5 patch. Where do I get this patch. Does it require running DX5? If so, where do I get that. And, how do I know which version of DX I currently run? Thanks.
