Sound Blaster Live on a MSI i815e PRO ????

Hi, I am building a new system and i was wondering if the SB Live mp3 or X-Gamer has any problems with the MSI i815e PRO mobo. Any feedback from ppl with this config is appreciated. Thanks for the help, Sparkhard.

Hi guys, I am having trouble with Counter-Strike. Everytime I try to update the internet servers list just before it finished getting all the server, my internet connection get dropped. Then I would have to restart the computer or reset the DSL modem.

Q3 point release 1.25 broke demos!

Game Gurus! I tryed searching the forum for an answer to this, but I found nothing, so I submit this question: I installed Q3 Arena point release 1. 25, and now I can no longer perform a Demo of any kind! When I go to the Q3 console, I type in TIMEDEMO 1 to get speed-test mode, then I type DEMO DEMO001.

Hard disk restarting itself at 5:43pm and 5:43am..wierd

Well, ive been having this encounter for quite awhile now and it has really started to bother me. The problem is, every day at 5:43pm and 5:43am, my hard disk turns off and then turns on again. I think this is around the time I originally installed windows2000, and am wondering why it is doing this.

"Always On Top" not always

Recently, items that should have the always on top property don't seem to be working properly. Namely, I am having trouble with the Start/Task Bar (especially when set to auto hide), and Hauppauge's WinTV when not in full window mode.

I'm overheating like hell!

Both my processor and video card overheat when I play quake, run 3D MAX (or any other high power games or programs). They are actually hot, I like my coffee cooler than that! I have an athlon 550, and a viper 770, Nothing is overclocked.

Expanded Control Panel All Messed Up!

My icons in the expanded control panel (start>settings>control Panel>. . . ) are all messed up. They all show as folders with jibberish text. When I open the full control panel in explorer, everything is ok.

Is it possible to install NT wkstn 4. 0 from a floppy, I can't set my BIOS to boot from CD? Also I have accidentally deleted a suspend-to-bridge oartition on my laptop, keep getting prompts to run susdisk.

I have been struggling to get Jack Nicklaus 6 to work under 2K for some time now. NTcompatible has it listed as not working under 2K, then it has it listed as working. . . UM, how did the game all of a sudden work.

It like happens only on my computer, when i watch a divx movie. . . the picture stops from time to time but the sound goes on. . . if i scroll i bit forward the movie continues like normal. . . and then it maybe stops again.
