anyone know how i can get rid of this bsod, i get it when i play games (but not all the time) or rarely in windows. It happens sometimes when i am in a game like delta force 2 i was running along and it bsod on me.

I am experiencing game flicker in my games. I have tried all that I can think of. I think that I might be missing something in the bios since I just put in a 256mb chip. I have the directx8a drivers and the latest geforce2 drivers.

please take a listen. . . . . . and yes i am taking it in to get replaced, oh by the way. . that is my HD 20g IBM 7200rpm,(about 4 months old) pleasent isn't it it does that like at least once ever 10min for abour 2 mins time, glad i got 2 HD.

I installed whistler 2416 without any problems and i connected to internet without any problems but i can´t see anything on the webb pages. . . . a webb page loads but nothing comes up on the screen.

I have a WAN that runs on a dedicated 56K line. Since I'm going to frame, I had a company hook up a smart jack and I installed a new CSU. Router to Router on the 56K line I get pings of 30ms. Through the frame connection, router to router I get 130ms.

Hi, I tried to use MSN Explorer. It installs fine but when I tried to sign in, it starts reading my hard drive really hard for 30 secs. After that it signs in properly. Why is that so. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but didn't help.

I got an extremely annoying problem here. . . I don't know how it happened, because I wasn't there when it happened, but now my taskbar is gone. I can see it for a brief moment, when logging on, but then it disappears again immediately.

Block size when setting up hard drives for RAID

What should the block size be when setting up 2 hard drives for RAID 0? There choices are: 4K, 8K, 16K, 32K, and 64K. I am guessing 64K will give me better performance. .

I am overclocking my cpu hardcore. . . . 700-1000ghz. I got an aftermarket heatsink for it and under a full load, the cpu heats up to 40-41C. . . . is this hot?.

What does win2k do to TCP/IP on start up? The reason for this Q is that it messes up my TCP/IP up. After a restart, I can't connect to FTPs. It gets in, but when I do a List or Dir command, it can't open a data connection.

Ok. My Windows 2000 is acting really weird. When I start up Photoshop or Winamp. . my internet just stops. ICQ works but the rest is not working. What can be causing this? Can I solve it by downloading a patch for Windows 2000? Please help me.
