I know this subject is the same basic answer as the Hollywood Plus DVD decoder, but I am running build 2419 and am curious if anyone else has gotten this card to work under Whistler/XP? This card is very problematic at best.

Just curious what people know of out there. I have WinMX which is an enhanced napster that allows sharing of vids and pics too. . . Then I just got bearshare which is an awesome gnutella clone, and from what Ive seen in gnutella clones, it takes a huge leap forward.

Well, in Mechwarrior 4, the screen flashing is gone, but now a new problem has cropped up. In Everquest, when I get to the game screen my mouse pointer from my windows desktop (the car key from Windows on the Road Theme) is imprinted there.

My friend has a MSI K7T Pro 2a motherboard with the shitty via onboard audio built in. He runs Windows Me. The performance of the VIA AC97 audio was not up to par as he uses this machine for gamming and listening to music and the VIA audio has a nasty tendency to skip and occupy a ridiculous amount of cpu time.

I've just upgraded my Win200 installation to Service Pack 1 via the 'download modified files only' option on the MSFT W2K website. The files were downloaded into c:\winnt\servicepackfiles\i386 and automatically copied into the appropriate directories.

I am going to set this computer up very soon with W2k, probably Voodoo5 5500 AGP and the rest that is in my signature. Can someone tell me the best setup method for this? W2K first? What about flashing the bios or Via drivers? Thanks if anyone that has this motherboard and running W2K can let me know.

Major 2428 problems

I can't get Liveware to install under build 2428. When i run the installer it gets as far as the initializing wise install wizard and then just stops. . . no errors or anything. The weird thing is that liveware installed flawlessly under build 2419.

Hi I am still getting used to using 2K as I have only had it for about a week. One thing that is bugging me, apart from not being able to boot from my ATA100 on my A7V is this. When I boot into windows, the items in the startup tray are loaded, volume, zonealarm and my mouse program.
