How cool should my system be

Right now Ive got the PS fan, a case fan in back, a HDD cooler, to suck air in, and an adjustable slot fan. Ive got a coolermaster socket A cooler rated at 4200 rpm, but its running at 4800rpm to 5000rpm.

I was just wondering if anyone else was still having problems with logitech drivers > 9. 00. You know the problem where if you press two buttons at the same time they cancel each other out. I think I figured out how to fix it.

I was wondering how well 2 100Mbit LAN's connected with each other through a 1000Mbit optic fibre cable, use the bandwitdh of the optic cable. If each LAN is connected to the optic cable via a switch that supports a 1000Mbit connection - will this solution be any better than by connecting the 2 LAN with STP cable ? ...

I have a HP4500 using a DLINK printer server. If I try to connect to it from Win2K Pro it asks for a *. inf (unknown) I point it to the inf file that comes with the driver on HPs site but it errors saying driver is not for this device or can not be accessed.

Okay, I'm pretty ticked off right now. I've been waiting too long to enable my Direct 3D features on windows 2000. I've downloaded the latest drivers from the manufacturers of Nvidia and Microsoft to enable this, and it finally worked.

Alright, it's easy enough to set up Routing and Remote Access using NAT in Windows 2000 Server. I need to do it for an NT 4. 0 Server that I have. I know it can be done. . . but instead of me fooling around with it for hours to figure it out, I thought I'd plop the question on here to get a quicker answer.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows a way to completely remove the DialUp Networking components in Winmill and do a fresh install? This sounds like it should be simple, but it isn't. I work in tech support for a small regional ISP and i found that when people upgrade from win98, their DUN breaks.

256 to 384 ram? Worth it?

I just upgraded from 256 to 384 megs of ram, and wondering if you all see this as beneficial? I heard anything after 256 does minimal things to windows 2000? What should my page file be set at with this setting? Should i put the page file on the same partition as WIN2000? or a different one? Intel Celeron 566 @ 901 ...

I had some problems with 2419 and my Voodoo3 AGP card on my K62 system. When I installed the drivers it would reboot into a 4bit screen and I had to rollback (great feature BTW). I assume that it has to do with the MB chipset (VIA) in combo with the OS and 3DFX card.

I find that Flight Simulator 2000 is SOOOoooo unreliable in Windows 2000. Has anyone else suffered the same and if so what the fix may be ??.

I upgaded from me to xp beta 2 v2428. Well bad news for my connection sharing. I was using wingate and that was no good. Try as I could, but could not get ICS to work. Is there an ICS with xp? Any suggestions on networking and ICS with XP.

I screwed up and clicked on do not open upon startup when I was closing everything down for some benchmarking on my vidcard I just OCed. . . Rebooted, and it was gone. . . and I use that instead of the taskbar's tray.

video card that will run secondary

I am so happy. I finally found a video card that will run secondary under win2k. It is a Matrox Milennium 2. Hope that's some help for you Inferno2000. However it doesn't have TV out. .
