Is possible to install Microcom 610 ISDN controller under Windows 2000 ? I can't find any drivers (W2K) for this controller. . . wrrrr I have no idea how. . . regards El Diablo.

My problem is that I am trying to make Win 2K and Win Me to work together. I have separated my HD in two partitions and installed on the second Win ME in FAT32. After that I installed Win 2K Pro on the first partition converting it to NTFS.

Help DOS App in ME

We have a DOS base application to run in ME but it gave me an error message. Our application is made of CLIPPER and it needs to have atleast 120 FILES handles to run. I tried to put it in ENVIRONMENT in SYSTEM CONFIGURATION UTILITY but still not working.

Is there any way to make a one-stop shutdown shortcut for Windows 2000? In 98 you could use rundll. exe and create a shortcut that would shutdown windows when you clicked on it. . . no need to go through the selection of start, shutdown etc.

When I right click on a file/folder I expect to see a security tab that allows me to set permissions. Mine is not there. Is this a bug? A feature? Do I need to run a utility now to do this? The drives I have are fornamted NTFS.

Having witnessed all these controversial opinions,I'd like to ask something: I have both Win2k Prof. and Win98 first edition installed. I use Win2k for internet and work and win98 for games. Would it be wise if I upgraded win98 and installed WinME?I say again that I use Win98 only for games.

choppy cutscenes in games under win2k

I have an Athlon 700, 196MB ,Asus V7700 deluxe & SB Live. Win2k SP1 & DirectX8 installed. On most of the games where cutscenes are, there are very choppy (for example Monkey4 & America) I am yet to find a succcessful fix.
