Zoom 2920 PCI Voice Modem not working right

I just bought this Zoom 2920 Modem. 1) The directions for installing the modem under Windows NT are incorrect. The Setup. exe file the directions say to execute does nothing to get the modem installed under Windows NT.

Old SCSI card

I am just switched to Windows 2000. On my system I have an old Adaptec 1505 ISA SCSI Card. On my bios I reserved the IRQ11 to the ISA slot and the card in WinMe is working perfectly. Windows 2000 instead ignored completly the setup of the Bios and is using the IRQ11 for the soundblaster Live.

Problems with IE5.01 Sp2 and Terminal Services

I think there is a bug in teh installer for IE 5. 01 SP2. I run Win 2k Server w/ Terminal Serv in remote admin mode. However, I cannot install Sp2 as it requires me to set the somputer for install mode, which is not available in remote admin mode.

Ok, I am setting up a small permanent LAN with the main system being a Windows 2000 based system. The other 2 systems will be Win 98SE and Win ME. I have tried and tried and maybe I am missing something, but I have no clue as to how to get 98 or ME to see the shared files and folders off a 2k system.

Hi guys. Hmm, for some reason the forum lost my password and details so I had to re-register. Anyway, the point is I just finished a fresh install of W2k and can not log in at all. It is the first boot and I have yet to log in with this install.

I have read a lot of positive posts in regard to Whistler but I have to say that after trying a couple versions for kicks and giggles I find it to be an over-weight version of Win2k which actually slowed down my games.

I got a stick of 128 mb PC100 CL3 ECC ram today for free. What can I use it in? my CUSL2 probably doesn't use ECC. my A7V133 is using Mushkin at 133mhz, so I won't tarnish its good name with no-name memory.

Tried using it, saying it didn't work is an understatement. The system rebooted as soon as it loaded it up. Had to go into safemode and remove all the registry bits manually since it never fully finished the install.

SB Live Platinum for bargain price...

I've seen the SB Live Platinum 5. 1 Retail at most websites for about £123 UK. However, one site has it for £58 inc VAT. Now I reckon this is a bargain, and I want to order it before they realise and put the price up.
