Heatsink suggestions?

Here's the deal. I got my new FC-PGA Pentium III 1GHz processor. I got the retail so it came with a heatsink. The problem is, the heatsink won't fit on the motherboard. It hits a capacitor and the power socket.

NV 7.58 WHQL solved Everquest problem!

The newly leaked 7. 58 WHQL drivers have finaly solved that problem I had in Everquest where my desktop mouse cursor would be imaged onto the game scrren. And to top that off, one benchmark I have seen shows them to be the fastest yet drivers, even over 7.

Syncing files?

Okay, I have two computers and there are some files I'd like to keep synced without having to manually update them. One runs Win2k solely, and my other one currently runs Win2k and ME. I just want the sync to be going on under just Win2k, because ME isnt really that important.

Operation Flashpoint demo

Yup! Although there is a quote in a readme file, that Win95a&2000 aren´t supported, the OPFlashpoint demo runs without problems on W2K. I have SP1 and DX8a installed, and at least with that it runs perfect!.

Easy cd creator 5 vs Nero 5.5

Nero 5. 5 looks pretty nifty. As far the features in the creation of an audio cd go. But it still uses much the same methods of creating a cd. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It still lacks alot in the creation of cd's with copy protection.

As we know, the final release of xp will probably have loads of protection eg activation etc. I have decided to stick with 2428 for now and was wondering which file or reg key you change to make system properties say win xp or whatever instead of windows 2000.

How to share an Internet connection in Win2K?

G'day guys, I have a bit of a hard one. I have a cable connection to the internet which goes from the cable modem to a NIC. I want another person to be able to dial into my box and be able to access the internet from my cable connection.

New video card to compete with ATI & Nvidia

I do not know if anyone has seen this on AnandTech, but there is a new video card on the market called the Kyro II. It is a 64MB video card that does not use DDR ram, nor does it use hardware T&L. What it does do is beat out many of Nvidia's & ATI's cards.
