I'd like to ask if WinXP does really worth. A friend of mine told me that although it's on beta version yet,it's more stable than Win2k!Really?When someone is on Win2k,does the upgrade worth ?.

Grand Prix 3 Clipping with Voodoo 5500

Has anybody been able to run GP3 in Win 2000? Game starts fine, then goes through a series of video calibration tests at various resolutions. I get severe clipping at all resolutions. I am not overclocking the videocard, and I don't have this problem in any other games.

At the moment i have an athlon system with a via chipset and would like to stay with AMD but away from via. I want to get one of the 266 fsb mobos and was wondering if you guys had anything good to say about the amd 760 chipset or the Ali chipset, especially about the agp.

I Have an Asus A7v133 and i cant Install Win2000, Ive got some error that say that win2000 cannot copy files like ntd. dll etc etc to the disk or if we i use i Ghost image of win2000, ive got error like Inacessible boot device.

Is there anyone using TNT2 Ultra with Detonator drivers greater than 6. 34 ? I've tried every driver beyond 6. 34 and i cant get the maximum resulotion greater than 1280x1024 !?!?! I'm using a iiyama 21 and using 1600 for resolution with 6.

Okay, would someone please tell me how to stop ZoneAlarm from trying to go to Zonelabs website on everyother boot up. Ive disabled autoupdate, and the web browsing isnt even set to go on on startup. Is there some way to stop this from happening.

Problems with this site?

bottleneck

Pages don't load completely,the spell checker does not work from time to time etc. Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me? BTW its only happening with this site. .

Okay heres the problem kingpin won't play off the voodoo 2 and quake III will what is the problem? system specs: nec standard system pretty much pentiumIII500 128 megs of ram 6. 06 quatuam harddrive diamond voodoo 2 OnBoard i810 Graphics etc.

I keep getting the message saying the this application wasn't designed to run under WinNT. I am running W2K with no service packs. I remember downloading a file that allowed alot of games to work with W2K, but after my most recent install I can't find it.

Good News! Compatibility Modes in Win2k

With the March Updates, Microsoft has added Compatibility modes for win2k as they are in whistler. There you go! Every other game and application would be working in Win2k. Miku.
