I just installed a second PIII-800EB after having just one in my VP6 for some time, and although the BIOS recognized the second CPU, Win2k Pro does not appear to be using it. I ran Passmark Performance Test before and after the upgrade, but I get the same score.

Hiya all. I've just done a 2k setup for a mate, who has an Epox KP6-BS 1 meg board. After a little bit fo work, it seems to be working fine now, except, I can't get any APM features to work. Sometimes I can't even get the machine to shut down.

Well its seems Soundblaster live which is detected and installed by XP itself is problematic for me. The card itself works. . . and all effects work. but the sound itself is messed up. . . I play a music file and I hear background music sometime and sometime the vocals with a damming sound.

I imagine Microsoft made more of an effort with the TCP networking code in Advanced Server than they did with Professional, and it shows as my throughput is always much faster in Advanced Server, but it begs the question, if they have this high speed ability in Advanced Server, why hamper Pro? What is the story with this thing. In 2K Pro it slows the system down to horrific 486 speeds (judder judder) every time you try to connect to the internet and all the time you are connected. Windows take ages to redraw etc.

XCOM - Interceptor Probe Bug

Has anyone else seen this? When playing Xcom interceptor under Win2K, some missions are destroy a probe or base. Only when getting there the probe is always at your 6'olock ( if stopping and turning around its still dead centre in your rear radar) The rest of the game runs fine.

What are the best Detonators for a TNT2?

Believe it or not, some of us still have a TNT2. I have a 16mb one and I'm wondering if anyone else does? I'm currently using the 6. 47 detonators, which work very nice for Q3. But upon quitting from Counter-Strike (HL) I get a BSOD and reboot.

After being so aggravated at Office XP for not allowing my Hollywood Magic to run unless shutting down ctfmon. exe I finally figured out how to rid myself of the problem 1. First install the newest drivers and software from Sigma 2.
