I'm running Build 2465 of XP Pro, and I've looked everywhere (I think) for someone who's had a similar problem. . . . Here's the thing. . . I'm trying to use Remote Desktop, which, as a Win2K server user, I'm pretty familiar with (different name, some program, basically).

I badly need some advice on this. I've been working very solidly on a project on a machine for the last few days. Dual 1ghz, 1gb Ram, 1 x Seagate Cheetah 9Gb, 1 x 18Gb SCSI Seagate Cheetah etc etc. In W2K, in 3DS Max R4, went to save the file, and the application said, 'error writing to file'.

I just read that MS plans to sell Office XP on a subscription basis in the near future. I do not think this is fair because the software they make are always full of bugs. People should not have to pay for bug fixes.

I just saw on the front page ATI has made specific XP drivers not 2000 drivers, do you guys think other compaines will start following this trend or will they wait until the OS hits RCs if not RTM stage before making drivers??
