INACCESSABLE BOOT DEVICE.... old one i know but please help

right ok, installed new KT7a-raid, i already had 98se and 2k installed on my system. Now i can get to 98 no probs but 2k always crashes with INACESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE error on me. Now i know this is due to the bus master driver from the via 4 in 1's.

When trying to run some DOS games in Win2k, I get a message along the lines of VESA Driver required. Mainly Duke3D and Privateer2. . . is there anyway to get this working or is this just a limitation I will have to live with? All the Best ~Skyphox.

Ok, I have seen countless messages about people having the same proble I am having (sounds cuts off after heavy CPU usage). I don't konw if this has anything to do w/ the via chipset (AMD 1 GHZ, via KT 133a.

Hopefully someone on the board has had this problem. Obligatory hardware specs: Athlon 800 on Asus A7V 256MB PC133 SDRAM Creative Labs GF2 GTS Win2k SP1 Det 11. 01 ACPI on So, um, I reformatted to turn ACPI on to idle a bit cooler degree-wise (shoulda saved my MP3s).

I've been using W2K for a while now and recently purchased a third HD. I wished to delete W2K from the C: partition which was on the 1st HD, and install it on the new 3rd disk, but when I go through the installation procedures I cannot get C: onto the 3rd HD.

Problem with moved Exchange User (old2new Server)

I have a little problem with moved Exchange User. We have move User from an old Exchange to a new Exchange system. The problem are when the old system are shotdown Outlook hangs for a while without any response.

Hi, I have a PC running Win2000 Pro which has another PC running WinNT4 networked to it. When i shutdown the Win2000 machine, it does not check to see whether the WinNT has any files open that reside on the Win2000 machine.

The recent Application Compatibility Update has also been partly broken under the installation of SP2. Only Windows 95 and NT4 SP5 can be selected on the Compatibility Layer on program properties. Windows 98 is now missing! Maybe reinstalling the app update will fix it, haven't tried it yet.

i'm not sure if its just me but after a fresh install of win2k, installing sp2 then upgrading to ie 5. 5 when i goto about in ie it says updates:;sp1; and it did say updates:;sp2; before i just at ie 5.

Hi Guys, I have a Geforce 2 MX w/ Philips 107MP I just installed the 12. 00 drivers and my games stopped working @ 85 Hz. Then I reverted back to the original 6. 50 Official and the problem was still there.
