Win2k Minimize/Maximize Window LAG *HELP*

Guys, I'm in need of URGENT help. As of less than a week ago, Win2k started giving me troubles with minimizing/maximizing windows. There's a noticable CPU lag during this time to the point of simply minimizing a window taking up 89% of the CPU.

Network printing in NT: how to keep the same printer install

Network printing in NT: each time a new user logs on to a machine for the first time, they need to add the same network printer to the machine. I've tried adding the printer as administrator in the hope it will be present for all users - no joy.

Sharing Printers with 98 and win2k machine need help.

I'm trying to get two computers (one running win2k and the other winME) to share the same printer HP DeskJet 930C. File sharing works fine. But I can't seem to share printers. When I tried installing additional drivers WinME wasn't there so I installed the Win95/98 drivers but it still didn't work.

Problems w/ US Robotics 56K fax/modem

Well, we did it; we upgraded from Win98SE to Win2000-Pro. In short, it has been a nightmare!!!!! The most recent problem is trying to get a dial tone from our 3Com US Robotics 56K V90 Fax/Modem. Worked flawlessly under Win98SE.

MSI 694D Pro AR with RAID...driver errors

Okay, I am really pissed right now. I just got an MSI 694D Pro dual cpu board with the Promise ATA100 controller. I'm really confused about it, because the Promise chip itself says PCD20265 but it has a FastTrack BIOS screen and menu after the mobo BIOS.

problem with xp and zip files

i installed xp on its own partition and explorer was set as the deafult program for opening zip files. I deleted that installation and used xp to upgrade win2k. Now the default program is a program called enzip (which I uninstalled).

ATA RAID5 - Anybody Tried??

I've seen plenty of people who have and are using either RAID 0, RAID 1 or RAID 0+1 arrays with IDE drives. Just wondered it anybody here has used a RAID 5 array with IDE disks, using a controller along the lines of the Promise Supertrak or Adaptec ATA2400A.

I am using a MSI K7T Turbo Mobo. . . Whan I go in BIOS and set the S suspend mode (in which hardware context is lost and power shut down), I get a registry error from Windows 2000 and then it automatically reboots.

I am not able to run SWAT 3 in Windows 2000. . . In one installation of Windows 2000 it gives the message Swat3. exe has generated erros & will be closed. Please restart the program. An error log is being created.
