Cas 2 - Cas 3 ram, can you even tell?

Crucial is selling 256mb pc133 cas 3 ram for 59. 35 and well I think i'm going to finally make the jump from 128mb pc100 lol, But I don't wanna have how you say ram thats not up to par so will I even be able to tell the difference between cas 2 and cas 3 latency? -Amnesiac.

Hi I currently have win2k prof installed, but i want to make a dual boot with windows me, to play games. The problem is that i have a huge amount of programs installed and i want to make that dual boot without having to reinstal everything, and i also don't want to loose my network configs.

Just moved two PCs over to Win2000-Pro (full install vs. upgrade over 98SE) and have a question regarding hard drive partitioning. Each PC is outfitted with a 34GB-7200/rpm hard drive. Each hard drive is partitioned with a 2GB C partition for Win2000-Pro and the balance of for drive D for data, programs, etc.

i've downloaded the latest drivers and installed them off their site which are supposedly win2k compliant, but after the detection, my cards still don't show up as usb drives in windows explorer anywhere anyone have any ideas?

I have Mouseware 9. 10 installed from a logitech CD, but it seems that the drivers won't recognize my Mouseman+ USB optical. I only have 2 buttons right now due to my mouse being set as a generic model, hindering both my CS and Q3 skills, but my ability to run Maya 3.

Hi, I upgraded my computer to Win 2k from Win 98 SE. Im thinking about reinstalling WIN 98 SE. I made my main hard drive and my second hard drive to NTFS. Is there a way that I can revert back to FAT 32 without purchasing any third party software? P.

Win 2000 Counter Strike Problems

Installed Win2k pro last week and cannot get counter-strike to run without locking up after about 5 minutes of playing the game. The screen freezes and sometimes goes black, the sounds just keeps repeating and I have to shutoff the computer to restart.

Ok all I did was Reinstall windows me fresh. Nothing else changed. So when I stick a CD in and try to run the file (Setup or install) I get Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable I have NEVER got this.

2 sidewinder gamepads in win2000?

When I use 2 sidewinder gamepads (the originals) daisychained in win 2k, in games there are random button presses, notably up+left. Both sidewinders are fine. Anyone had similar problems? It doesn't happen in win98se Celeron 333@375 Win 2k SBLive! 1024 Player Sidewinder gamepad (original) Maybe it's the sblive drivers.

As soon as windows 2k starts up, i start receiving weir program errors about every minute about some program called Winmgmt. exe. This gets annoying especially when im in a game and it keeps tabbing out every minute.

If I highlight all the files in the C: it comes to 1. 2 GB, however, if i go to My Computer and check the drive space from there, it says that I only have 139 Mb free ? Is this right ? Whenever I click an application on the taskbar, it doesnt gain the focus, only when I alt-tab to the application will it gain the focus. When I simply click the taskbar, it flashes (the taskbar application box) but wont take the focus.
