After a while system starts using 100% cpu

I format once every 6 months or so just because im a neat freak and i do so with an image that i made that was a clean dual 2k\me boot. whats weird is every other time or so i end up haveing to redo it because for whatever reason in win2k after about 30 min my system starts going in slow mode.

I am experiencing a perplexing problem. I came back from school where I used a LAN connection and attempted to switch back to the dialup connection that worked perfectly the last time I tried it. I made no changes to the connection whatsoever, but that does not seem to matter.

I have an omnibook 5500ct and would like to install win nt 4. 0. The problem is every time the last boot disk is finished it says it cant locate the cdrom drive. The floppy is swappable with the cdrom drive.

EQ Stop Error

After a fresh install of Win2k +SP2 +Latest Drivers +EQ, Eq starts just dandy. However it pauses a very long time just before displaying characters for selection, and I get a BSOD Stop error when I try to change resolution.

How to format second drive in Win2k?

Hello, I am new to Windows 2000 and have recently built a new system (AMD 1. 4 TB, 512MB RAM, Geforce 3, and 2 61GB IBM ATA100 drives) I have installed windows 2000 on the first drive as an HTFS partition and installed SP2, now I am ready to format my second drive for use and cannot figure out how.

Running 2000-Pro. Have been told there is a way to do a screen-capture to a printer by pressing certain keyboard keys simultaneously. I have tried <Ctrl><Print Screen>, <Alt><Print Screen>, <Shift><Print Screen>, etc.

Annoying feature in IE6 build 2469

When I visit web pages that have Microsoft, Intel, or any other company Gates is butt-buddies with, IE underlines the name. Clicking on it will bring up an company information box. Is there any way to disable this crap?.

Using other information found on this site I have been able to successfully run NFS HS, however It will only run if I use the ASUS Geforce 2 MX drivers. If I use the Nvidia drivers it simply quits back to the desktop after a few seconds when running NFS HS.

Anyone with this CD-RW prob?

After upgrading to my VP6, my Ricoh 6x4x24 SCSI CD-RW no longer burns except for at 2X, and once in a while not even that. The burn seems to fail at random times into the burn. If anyone knows how to resolve this problem, please let me know.
