I got 4 of the running under SYSTEM, 1 under LOCAL SERVICE and 1 under NETWORK SERVICE, each is using about 1. 5 - 2MB ram and it doesn't seem like much, but they add up, i can understand one or two, but do i really need 6-8 of them running? and is there anyway to have ...

Hi Guys, I have noticed something very strange. . When I try to execute a 16 bit EXE or a ZIP in EXE form, the application stops responding for sometime. Then an error appears as shown below. . Any ideas? ARC.

I installed Unreal Tournament and decieded to play a multiplayer game. When I tried to connect to a server, it would say no server found. Has anyone else had this same problem? If so, did you find a solution! I have reinstalled win 2000 with sp2.

Ok this is for people that want to keep their current file systems intact. If you plan on doing an upgrade or just a repair install, this can be done with a full install too but i don't recommend it because it can leave some unwanted files and might cause problems.

Is there anyway to lock your workstation in XP? Control-Alt-Delete just brings up the Task List, and beats me if I can see an option for it. The help still refers to 2K too. Grrr. One more thing while I'm here, I've heard ppl say the performance matches that of 2K, but for me, I find that its quite a lot more sluggish.

I have i hardware divice that only has drivers for the com+ version in win9x. Lets begin. I have the com+ version but there is only drivers for the USB version for win2k. The only diference is that the new version of the hardware has an usb port insted of a com+ connector.

Hi, I have two computers connected together in a small network, and which I can toggle between using a KVM switch box. Is there a way I can 'share' my outlook messages. In other words from which ever computer I open Outlook, I'd like to see the same messages, same contacts etc etc.
