Anyone got 2495? I tell ya it's not much use to me since you now have to activate before you can even log on. You can still get into the os via safemode with command prompt but replacing winlogon from 2481 isn't the solution.

NBA Live 2001 Still Crashing

Greetings, I have installed Win2K ACT and Whistler ACT 2. 0. Still am having no luck with NBA Live 2001. Got the Spanish version of the exe. Still drops me to the desktop when I execute nbawin. exe I get the intro EA Logo then the copyright screen and then it drops me back @ the desktop.

whats up with me ports??

im running w2k pro on my comp in work, i log onto it with admin privs but can't use ftp, icq, morpheus etc, if i try and use these progs on any other machine in work, its fine, works straight away. Is there something blocking my ports on my computer alone, how could i tell? ta mad2moons.

I installed windows xp 2485 and i can't get my drivers to work. They install fine but when i try to play games opengl or direct3d does not work. I had a earlier build of xp on my machine and the drivers worked fine but the latest 3 builds it does not work can anyone help me.

Anyone knows anything about the 1006. 003 file for the Asus P3V4X mobo? Should it be renamed to 1006. bin ? Or should it be used as is with aflash. exe ? This is my very first Asus mobo (my two first ones were excellent DFI which i knew how to flash).

Real preliminary stuff. . . . but I've only had a chance to run 3DMark2001 + Giants since I got everything up and running. As was mentioned in another thread, the SB Live! (5. 1) didn't quite work right when I used the standard Win2k drivers.

Is there a command or service for the MMC or console (something similar to net view perhaps?) that would allow me to see which sessions are currently opened by my machine? (Note: Not the sessions users have opened under my shares)

I recently came across an old Adaptec ISA SCSI card (AHA 1522A) And windows 2000 doesn't seem to have the drivers for it. On the adaptec website they show that for NT 4. 0 users that the Drivers are in the OS.

I have a problem when i click to share a file or folder the file the option to share it is greyed out. I don't know what caused it but now i can't fix it. Ive tried reinstalling F&PS but it didn't work.

Benchmarks: XP vs 2K for OpenGL/D3D apps and DS3D

I have been trying to find a site that has benchmarked say the newest 28xx series build with win2k for Q3 and D3D games. Also to demonstrate the performace the the audio systems. Has any site done this?? I keep reading that XP is so much faster.
