Auto login for Win2k server?

HELLBRINGER
Can I autologin to Win2k server? Or does the security features prevent that? I took off the CTRL - ALT - DEL requirement in local policies. But cant find anything for auto login like in Wink2 Pro. Can this be done? Can a program be downloaded for it?.

Disabling ACPI

Hello you all, My mobo is the Asus P3V4X, latest release (fewer fsb settings) with latest bios (1005, i think), and i can't find the way to disable ACPI. . . Someone to help me ? Thanx !.

NEW KT7xxxx BIOS ( 3R )

over at they have posted the latest ABIT beta bios for the KT7 series of boards. ABIT sent this bios direct to Equito at Icrontic first. It is reported to fix the SBLive issue. It is based on a completely new Kernel from AWARD.

Hi all, Having made a service of an XWindow manager using FireDemon, I now have the problem of the splash screen and the taskbar button. I would like to know if anyone has and ideas how to remove the taskbar button and stop the splash screen appearing.

Installing apps in user account with Win2k Server

I was wondering. If you can make Win2k Server allow an administrator to give the computer a password and user name to install a program in an user account. So that way I don't have to login as an admin and quit all the current running programs.

Ripping DVD's with WinXP...

i use CladDVD 1. 71 to rip. VOB files from DVD's, then encode them using FlaskMPG, i am unable to rip at all. The last time i ripped anything was when i was suing Win2k 2195 SP1, i'm using XP 2481 Pro, i have a Pioneer DVD-115 (tray) 16x DVD-ROM, i have the ASPI 4.

Eeek! I Can't Play Heavy Gear 2?!?!

I'm a recent Win 2k convert and fan of Heavy Gear 2. I haven't gotten anything to get it to work and when I look up fixes the links to the Microsoft website they give me are down. Does anyone out there know a sure fire way to get past the DirectX 6 Not Found error.

hi everyone, due to a reformat i lost all my giants saves, now i am going through it all again, but i have noticed that i am missing that small machine type gun i think it should be about the 3rd you get, all i have at the mo is a sniper, rocket launcher type thing and the laser.

Is There any sound card that works in win2k really well ?

i am wondering if there is any soundcard out there that works well in win2k , has very good win2k support with drivers updated a lot , not any issues like the sb live with *cracking* , good qaulity sound in games and music , not full of extras when you install the drivers like sb lives , will not have issues with DX 8.

Ok, somewhat solved my Nero problem, but now its WNASPI32.DL

Ok, I sort of fixed my buffer under-runs in Nero. But I am having a strange problem with NERO and my CD ROM drives. If I use the 4. 60 version of wnaspi32. dll (44K) that was already on my system, the CD ROMs will work, but Nero won't, nor will the new Nero CD Speed tool which gives a wnaspi32.

ok beta2 was booting slow with 2475 per n pro boot was very fast, it was even faster than tweaked winme with 1 sec. but with 2481 pro it looked like booting a little bit slower same with 85, 86 n now with 2494 personal boot is nearly 10 seconds slower nothing different I installed all tweaked anyone else noticed th ...
