Intel Celeron compability with NT and 2000 servers

Do anyone know if there is any problem trying to run NT server in a Celeron machine? What about 2000 Advanced Server? I want to have two servers (one NT 4. 0 and one 2000) for testing my C++ applications (NT Services and stuff like that).

Hi People, I had downloaded the full package for IE 5. 5 some time ago and I was using it hapilly ever after to install on tens of machines (hundreds via the Network) Anyway all good things come to an end and CD is messed I can not take an image either.
Shouldnt the Hercules game theater XP work with winXP???

Ive tried every driver hercules has released and I cant get my game theater to produce recognizable sound, anyone else have this problem? Or fix it?

Hello! I Have following problems: I own an Asus 7700 Deluxe Graphic card, and I can't use the drivers provided by my manufacturer, because on bootup XP show an BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) saying that anvmini.

Win95 to WinXP not possible?

I don't know why this pisses me off, but I think Microsoft is arrogant and ignorant for dropping Win95 from the upgrade path to Windows XP. Windows 95 still has a huge install base, and a lot of small businesses still use it.

hi i have a a compaq presario 1400 notebook that I recently upgraded to windows 2000 professional. most of the things on my laptop still work but a few drivers have been either effected or lost. my audio now doesnt work and also the touch pad mouse doesnt work properly anymore - i think its possibly the easy access ...

Does anybody know a work-around for the mouse move problem of the game under win2k ? mouse doesnt work korrekt in some menus (description in comptibility list) does the problem occur on every win2k system ? thanks, momp

When I try to drag folders around on the start menu, I get a cannot move XXXX, the source folder is the same as the destination folder. Is there a way to fix this? I log on as the administrator if that's any help.

i get a BSOD od restart of shutdown- any ideas anyone- the BSOD says IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL it seems to start when i installed 12. 90 Win2K drivers fr my Elsa 920. May try some other ones- anyone know which GF drivers work for sure in XP?.

How do you remove the build number from windows xp build 2504? And I don't want to do the Lock Desktop Icons thing, it makes everything look really crappy. Is their a way other than that? I tried the regedit thing, with the Paint Desktop value, that didn't work, any other way, any way at all????? Falcon26.

How can I disable MS Messenger??? I tried to run msconfig and went to startup to disable msmsgs. exe and I also disabled Messenger from the SERVICES Tab. I'd like to just get rid of this damn thing if it's possible.

FireDreamon may or may not be working. When I make a service. Then look at it in the Services in admin tools, the path is to firedeamon. exe file. Is that ok? Will the service still start? What other programs like this are there for Win2k? Anythink appreciated guys.

First off: WOO HOO FIRST POST in the new WinXP/. NET Apps forum! Now, to business. . . I was wondering if anyone know yet the upgrade path MS will allow for WinXP. I know Win95 is out, but who cares about that POS.

Okay, I've got an MSI 694 D Pro-A with the original BIOS for the mobo and the Promise PCD 20265 ATA100 controller with the FastTrak Lite BIOS. Here's my problem: I was trying to add an older 4. 3 GB hdd to what I already had, and it wasn't going well.
