Hello, Does anyone know when RC1 will be available for download to the people who signed up for the preview program. I signed up and recieved the confimation email so i am signed up. I hear it has been released but no email as to when the program will be available for download.

I am running RC-1 and had to load the win2k drivers for my Voodoo5 because Voodoos are no longer supported be XP. Well, I just went to the windows updater and it scanned my system and reported that it had new voodoo5 drivers for me! This was not detected yesterday when I ran the windows updater, so it is very new.

Good PCI Video Card for TV-out / multimonitor

I am currently using a GeForce AGP video card to output to a single monitor in Windows 2000. I plan on buying a second monitor to set up multimonitor, and I also plan on moving my TV in to the room with my computer, and outputting to the TV from my computer.

this program worked in 2465 by using the compatablity fix to make it think its win 2k but now in 2474 i do the same thing but it gives me the error of not the correct windows version. is there a reason for this? um using a asus gf2mx with the det 12.

I get BSOD when watching movie with windows media player in winXP, in all the builds I can remember I have tried. Even now with the 2486, I have this hardware setup. It works well playing MP3, midi or wav, just not any movies.

Hi, anybody know if there's any way to configure the middle button of the mouse? As the default mouse driver in XP doesn't provide options of configurating the mouse buttons. As I want to configure the middle mouse button to open windows explorer.

Why is it that when you try to access a hard drive on a Win2k machine through a win98 machine, it gives you this weird password crap that no one I know has been able to deal with? I've tried to figure this out, but I still haven't gotten anywhere farther.

You can install Liveware 3. 0 for Windows 2000 on XP. The only catch is you need to replace the DEVLDR32. EXE with the version that comes on your copy of XP (i386/drivers. cab). Expand the cab and find DEVLDR32.

No 3D Sound support in XP with SBLive!

Everytime I enable 3D sound with environmental effects in a game, be it EAX or DirectSound, I get weird distorted noises. Then the sound totally cuts out. Sound works perfectly without 3D support. I am running WinXP b.
