voodoo 3 works just fine with XP!

Windows XP RC1 and the voodoo 3 work just fine with most of the games using direct 3d and you can always install the windows 2000 open gl/glide drivers. .

ATA 100 PCI card preformance is at ATA 33 levels

I have a Maxtor (Promise) Aultra ATA 100 controller and I'm getting preformance no better than UDMA 33 (XP pro RC1 2505). I have a ATA 100 5400rpm drive on IDE1 of the card and a ATA 66 7200rpm drive on IDE2.

Anyone know where I can download the TrueMotion 2. 0 Decompressor for Win2k (used by Final Fantasy VII)? It used to be auto-downloaded by Windows Media Player, but doesn't seem to be available any more.

Does any1 here know how to start CS from gamespy using a batch file? I mean i can start it but it will not connect to the server i have chosen. Instead it will fire up CS as if i had only run the batch file.

I realize this may sound like a stupid thing to worry about but I'm really into graphics and I notice things like this The problem is all of my Icons are very low-quality. They look like they are in low color-depth mode.

Win2k Server GETS REALLY SLOW!

I don't know if it is hardware related but I will tell you anyway. After running Win2k Server for a while on my server, trying to go in and do things it gets EXTREMELY UNRESPONSIVE! I am not sure if it is a memory leak or what the problem is.

I am having a problem running Baldurs Gate 2 in XP. I can install the game fine. When I play everything is real slow. When I move the mouse the pointer on the screen lags behind. The refrash rate is at about 60 and I cant seem to find a way to fix that.

Sound card with DTS

I am looking for a sound card with either a DTS decoder built in, or that will send the DTS signal to my receiver via digital coax or optical output. I already get Dolby 5. 1 output through my ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon, but I want to be able to experience DTS without having to buy a standalone DVD player.
