recycle bin icon broken

My recycle bin icon dosen't change when the bin has something in it. Its always showing the empty icon even if there are files in it. I have checked the icon settings for the recycle bin and they are correct with different icons for both states.

DAMN CD-ROM taking Drive letters from new partitions! Err!

I recently added 2 new partitions to my hard drive. This is all on my Western Digital 7200RPM ATA100 40GB Partition 0 is my System Drive and is ~3GB Pertition 1 is my Data Drive and is ~25GB (Drive D use to be 32GB until I added new partitions) Partition 2 (NEW) is my Games Drive and is ~8.

Start Up items that I cant remove and Add/Remove dead links

Is there any program (similar to the MSCONFIG from Windows 98) that can alter all the programs that startup? I looked in Services for some programs that are starting up and they are not there. They are also not on the startup list in the start menu, nor have options to not startup with Windows.

Somehow I managed to get my start>programs menu to shoe only the shortcuts in my C:\Docs & Settings\Username folder. I also want all the shortcuts that are in the C:\. . . . . \All Users folder to show here (just like it does in Win2000).

Anyone tried 3DMark 2000 with XP Pro RC1? Sure, the score is still acceptable, but it's almost 1000 points lower than under Win2k or Win98SE! Anyone else gets this? AIM 4. 7 I still think doesn't work in XP RC1, so I use AIM 4. 3, and I've had this leak forever. Basically, after every IM, about 300K more RAM is used. It never goes down, and I'll find that process using 200 megs in no time.

Got quicktime 5 working in IE6?

The only program that no longer works after upgrading to winXP RC1 is Quicktime 5 in IE6 (Apple toss). It works fine on it's own but just doesn't embedded movies in web pages. Has anyone managed to get round this?.

I have 4. 03 of EZCD creator. i go to make an audio CD and point it to the dir where my mp3s are and it says there are no audio files, i drag and drop the mp3 there and it says its not a valid audio file.

ok i have tried every build from 2481 (i am on rc1 now), each thime i boot my pc with a network card in i get a blue screen saying irq less than or equal and then listing ndis. sys as the culprit. I have tried 3 different network cards all having the same error.
