Counter-Strike + WinXP = OpenGL mode not supported.

What is up with that? :[ I installed WinXP and the latest drivers along with the latest 3dfx tools (I have a Voodoo5). I also installed CS fine but when I try to start a game it says that this OpenGL mode is not supported by my video card, when I know it is since I've been using it flawlessly in Win2K and Win98.

I've been having problems sending through my ISP, so I'm looking for something to send mail through my own server. I have SMTP installed, but I don't have Exchange or anything, and I don't feel like spending any moeny on this, as it'd be less troubl to just send from the web.

Hi I'm using a INGMAN GAMING MOUSE. As long as I'm at the Win2000 LoginScreen everything is OK, but after the login the curser moves 3 pixel per step (instead of 1/step) The problem appears with USB as well as with the PS/2 port.

I installed Sygate 4. 0 in XP to get DHCP and internet sharing up and running on my home network but it doesnt work. I used the same configuration as in my Win2k installation. Sygate starts and seems to work fine but the clients dont recieve ip adresses and DNS information.

Folder Sharing Restrictions, Any way to set them?

In win2k, I used to be able to share specific folders on my hd, but only to specific acounts that i designated. For Example, i used to share my whole d drive to an acount that i used with my laptop, and i would share a general folder to the public, therefore, the public couldnt see my whole hard drive.

Clear last user name in Win2K

Is it possible to clear last user name in the Win2K logon prompt? Easy to do in NT4 via a registry tweak or using tweakui. Trying the same in Win2K has no result. I look after a NT4/Win2K network where most of the users are students, and I feel it is a better idea to clear the last user name.

On one of my hard drives, I have this Document and Settings directory, which is not used. However, I am unable to delete it. Its not used for anything, as it was from a previous XP installation. I can't delete it in Win2k or in WinXP.

Possible bug on Workgroup

I might have found a bug. After altering my workgroup name and rebooting winXP RC1, I found that the name had been reset to WORKGROUP. Nothing seems to be able to change this workgroup name into something that makes sense.
