Hardware accleration in PowerDVD?

I never had a problem enabling this on PowerDVD under Win98. Under 2k, the check box is grayed out. BTW: I'm using 7. 97 drivers for my GTS. .

Administrator login disappeared!

I have no clue how this happened but as soon as I created an additional login to use my administrator login has completely disappeared. Has this happened to anybody else? What the heck is going on?? How do I get it back?.

This horrible little icon repeatedly pops up in my tray every time I launch OutlookExpress DESPITE the fact I configure Outlook to refrain from doing so. I've had this problem with WinME and Win2k as well.

Odd NT4 problem

I was installing NT4 on a old workstation I had around, its a p2 300, 64 megs of memory and standard hardware. Anyway after I install nt4 fresh and get everything set up a problem happens, whenever I try to run an installshield installation or some MS ones it fails without reason or fault log.

Drive mapping, source gone, restart, WONT GO AWAY!

You know when you map a drive and have it remap when you restart. And then that system with the drive to be mapped is gone. Well I have a lot of mapped drives (13 to be precise) and some times when the systems are offline it says error connecting and all that crap.

Periodic Hangs Running CDROM Apps

I have noticed that when running some apps and games they will hang every several mins for about 5 seconds, then resume as normal. 2 immediate examples are watching large movies streamed off the CDROM and playing the game XCOM Enforcer.

Ok I have used the search but was not able to find exactly what I need. I am going to start capturing video. Now I have been told that NTFS is the best for that but will my games etc work well under NTFS? Will the system run slower?.

Does service pack 2 automatically turns on compatibility mode? Cuz before service pack 2 i had to manually tell the shortcut to run in windows 98 compatibility mode to make certain games work. Since i did a format and installed service pack 2 they don't seem to need compatibility mode anymore.

Ok, on both my Desktop and my Laptop whenever I press the Power Button to Shutdown I always get a message saying that there is a User logged on (Me) and you'll dump them, do you wish to continue? Hi, I have a inf file that apparently fixes the hibernation problem with all versions of the above software. If you'd like to leave your e-mail address then I can supply you with it. I'm not exactly sure what I should do to run, I just right-clicked it clicked on install and hoped it worked.
