IIS 5.0 probs

i cant get the FTP portion of my FTP to work for IIS 5. 0. the website works fine. the FTP gives an error. i am not running the IIS comp straight to the internet though. it has internet shared via Sygate and ports mapped to it.

Can't run 16-Bit apps

Hi can anyone explain why i can t run 16 bit apps. The problem seemed to start when i moved wowexec. exe because i was suspcious of what it was. ANyway, i found out it was a W2k file, so i put it back.

Outlook 2000 problem...

Hi, I work for a company that gives IT services and one of our customers claims that when he deletes an email from his inbox, it doesn't move to the deleted items folder but disapears. . . I haven't found any outlook option about it, any suggestions? Thanks.

DPT PM2044W Drivers For windows 2000

Has anybody got a copy of the Windows 2000 DPT PM2044W drivers as these have now been removed from the DPT site. ftp. dpt. com/pub/techsup/SCIV/software/drivers/windows/2k/win2kdpt. zip If not is there a way of getting to old WinNT drivers to work.

Black & White in Win2k

I have a problem running Black and White on my pIII 800mhz, 128mb RAM, 32MB Matrox G400, Windows 2000 machine with all of the latest graphics updates, including DirectX 8. 0a, etc. . . When I launch the game's executable, the splash screen comes up, but then it disappears and returns to the desktop.

Time Sync with server

Hello, I have a couple of NT 4. 0 WKS client setup and an NT4 PDC server. The client is login onto the network through a policy I have setup for them. I'm trying to have login script to synchronized the wks with the server so all terminals are showing the same time.

Is it possible to share a connection with ICS between Windows Millenium and Windows 2000? I've just built a computer for my brother (using WinMe) and I want his machine to host the internet connection, while I primarily use windows 2000.

ATA100 HD. But runs like ATA... well 40!

Ahhh crap! This is really pissing me off! Me and my friend both have Epox EP-8KTA3 motherboards. We both have Western Digital ATA100 7200RPM 40GB hard drives as well. I have a Duron 800 @ 1000 and he has a Duron 850 not over clocked cause I need to fix the pencil marks (lol! sorry couldn’t resist).

W2k randomly resets my #@$%ing folders!

It's happening more frequently now; windows forgets my view settings and decides to reset all of the folders to large icons. Internet explorer is also giving me grief. . . it will remember my dial-up password; and then forget it if I disconnect and re-connect.

can't install geforce2 driver

I've installed winxp rc1. my 3dcard is a geforce 2 mx. windows automatically installed the 12. 41 driver for it. but my games don't use opengl-mode for this reason i installed the geforce2-drivers again.

Is there anyway inside Win95/98/ME/NT/2000 to change the default font for dialog box and Control Panel boxes, etc, you know the fonts that do not appear in title bars or on a icon or as a tool tip, for example go to device manager and look at the text, it is in default MS Sans Serif, I hate this stupid default can ...

Show Desktop icon

REALLY stupid question, but I somehow deleted the show desktop icon and it's gone. GONE for good. Can anyone tell me where the icon is located in Win2K PRO, and what I can do to get it back? It's so bloody useful, I can't live without it.
