I want to try and set up a FTP on my computer. I'm running w2k pro at the moment, but also got w2k server, and was thinking about using IIS to set it all up. Just wanted to ask if there is anything particular I should think about.

McAfee Virus definitions has been updated to version 4152 If you are using VirusScan 5. x, you can easily update your DAT files from the VirusScan Central (the main VirusScan menu) and click on the Update button.

u know the little button in the middle of the mouse that let su scroll up and down with out moving the mouse, well it worked fine with win98 and me but in 2k it aint working is there anything i can do? maybe get drivers but i dont know from where so any help would be great thanks

Win2k dialup acting weird after a few days uptime

ive noticed a weird coincidence with my dialup connection and windows 2000 that seems to happen after a couple days uptime. right now im at about 3 1/2 days, and my connection's IDENT no longer wants to work (like when connecting to irc, it never even shows getting or sending an ident reply).

monitor clicking on and off....

when ever I play games like quake 3 for example, my monitor clicks on and off when switching modes. I dont understand why it does this. I also have winMe installed on the same pc, and it does not do this.

IIS password protect documents

I want all html documents in a folder to be password protected. In other words, IE and Netsape users must enter a username/password to access any document placed in this directory. I managed to get it work by making the directory only viewable by one user account, but the username/password only worked for IE users.
