New to Norton ghost 2001

hi, i made a bootdisk with cd-rom support but when i restart my computer with that disk in the drive it tells me ntldr is missing. Shouldn't it just boot without caring about ntldr????? That bootdisk contains all necessary files to boot into msdos, why is it looking for ntldr?.

Problem with IE in RC1

Hi everyone. Installed RC1 (build 2505). No problems except I came to it today and noticed a small but annoying problem with internet explorer. When you type a friendly url (eg ) into the address bar and hit enter (or press Go) nothing happens.

Drive image showing wrong free space

Sometimes drive image show a wrong free space on my harddisk. In windows2000 i can see i got 7GB free on my HD, but drive image (rebooted in dos and everything) tells me there is only 3 GB free. . . So i can't make an image.

Holding the ICON settings in XP folders

I think im missing the plot somewhere here. I cant seem to get the folders to all hold their ICON settings. When i go back to a folder after a reboot theyre all resett to TILES. Any pointers appreciated.

Motherboard won't boot...

Okay, I've got my duallie rig set up with an MSI 694D Pro and a 300W Premier PSU. I just came home and found the machine didn't wake up, so I figured someone screwed around an locked up the PC. Wrongo! Now I'm lucky to see anything on the screen.

Well here we go again. My BE6 and HPT366 are acting up again this time on Windows XP. I just downloaded XP RC2 (though I still didn't get my RC1 CD yet ). I installed it without a hitch since my boot drive(s) are one the regular ATA33 controller on the motherboard.

TV Out for Voodoo 3 in Windows XP?

I am running build 2526 of windows xp. My voodoo 3 card is working but there is no tv out. Is there a way to get the TV Out working in Windows XP? Or do I have to stick with win2k for the time being?.
