x-setup ata66 seting???

I noticed there is a setting in x-setup to enable ata66 in win2k because it is not enabled as default. Does this do anything?? I use a highpoint 366 ata 66 controller with a maxtor ata100 drive. How about ata100 drivers?? Is ata100 not enabled either when using a ata100 controller, or does sp2 fix al that?.

Overclockers Online has put up a review up of Macpower´s Digidoc 5 unit which allows people to measure a truckload of temps, monitor voltages and control fans. The main device has a large LCD screen with an orange backlight (very c00l indeed!), 5 buttons on the front and a 40mm fan.

i installed that prog called Customizer 2000 (it was Advertised on 8/11/2001 on the main page) & i was playing with it & everytime i hit apply it said failed to set data for 'DefaultRcvWindow' so then i rebooted & now the version number comes up everytime on the bottom right of the desktop!! how can i make this pro ...

*sigh* i know ive asked you guys before, but i didn't get many replies and my problem is still at hand. I guess the bottom line is, i have a great system, but im getting HORRIBLE performance. In Half Life/Counterstrike i get an average of 40FPS!!!! The screen is so choppy.

STR (supsend to ram) and hibernate modes work fine for me in w2k, but in windows me i get an error message that reads: your system could not enter a low power state mode because of your usb device and hibernate ...

Why doesnt outlook.exe go away?

So whenever I exit Outlook it sometimes isnt killed, and sits in the task manager soaking up a nice fat 10 megs of ram until I kill it. This screws up other things in my system like my modem ussually wont dial and outlook simply wont load.

Here's my IIS(web) log file from August 4. Every hit with 'NNN. . ' AND 'XXXX. . ' IS Code Red. Notice it has changed from NNN to XXX. . meaning that it's mutating. I'm not in danger since I installed the patch weeks ago.

Alcatel USB SpeedTouch problems

I've just had ADSL installed at home (yeah!!), but I'm having problems with the Alcatel USB Speedtouch. . . Everything works fine for about the first 10meg of data downloaded (doesn't matter the source - websites, ftp, anything) and then the modem just hangs.
