Hardware Analysis has posted a review on the Radeon 8500 ATi has finally released samples of their new Radeon product line to the press. We were able to get up-close-and-personal with a Radeon 8500 for a couple of hours.

Need help with computer problem

Hello. I am building a system for my cousin and it is having a strange problem. I cann't restart the computer either through Windows or from system Bios. If I do restart my computer, my monitor would go blank and it stops receiving signal.

Diskeeper at boot-time

I'm just curious, has anyone tried boot-time defragmenting with Diskeeper 6(SE)? I tried it once, and shortly thereafter I had all kinds of horrible drive errors. My system seems to have recovered, but I'll not be so quick to try it again.

How would one go about legally acquiring the corporate version of XP Professional when it comes out? The company I work for is still using NT 4. 0 so they will most likely NOT be purchasing it even if I wanted to steal a copy.

MS Backup error

A friend recently installed a 60GB hard drive and partitioned it into (3) 20GB virtual drives. He tried to backup 13 GB of data using MS Backup on Win 2K. He errored at a little over 4 GB telling him the drive was full.

I was reading around here and someone said that I don't need to install the 4-in-1 drivers for my chipset. All I need to do is update the AGP one. How do I do that? I run the setup as usual and I don't get the screen where I get to choose the AGP speed.

1st. All my administrative tools both in the control-panel and the startmenu dissapeared. 2nd. I can't install NetMeeting 3. 01 (which has Win2k support), because it says it doesn't work on my operating system.
