Hey I installed LiveWare on XP a while back and it worked fine but it kept screwing up and I couldnt choose a different effect. Anyway to make a long story short its set to the concert hall setting so theres a constant echo.
Off Topic: temperatures of an AMD TBird 1400

I´m a bit worried about the temperatures of my CPU. During maximum load, the temperature goes up to 60°C. Don´t know if it would go any higher since I´ve set up Motherboard Monitor to warn me when reaching that temp.
Anyone know if this is possible?

Lo folks, When I had Windows 98, I had a little patch which allowed me to read Audio CD's and look at the WAV files on the CD. Is there such a patch, or is it possible to enable the same thing with Windows 2000 or Windows XP? Many thanks.

Internet Problems after long periods of idle time

My internet seems to be slow after I let my computer idle for a couple of hours. It take about 5 times as long to load a page and I get alot more page not able to be displayed errors. Has anyone ever heard anything like this or experienced this before.

i have a Riva TNT video card and i can't make it work on windows 2000. The manufacturer of the videocard is Butterfly, and it has code: AGPTNTK-16M. In win98, winMe i use regular Detonator drivers, but in win2000 i can't set the display to 256 colors or more.

Hi guys!, I just want to know what happen to my internet sharing in win2k. Actually, in our office we have 2 servers, 1 using NT4 and 1 win2K server. The NT4 was connected to our ISP using a wireless internet connections and the win2K is not.

When I run checkdisk after rebooting in win2k, i can never tell if i have bad sectors on my hd. Is there another way to scan my hd for bad sectiors? I have a feeling I have a bad drive. .

Hi, Could somebody re-post the instructions on how to download the IE files so that they can be saved and installed later. I'm trying to create an installation point on the network for IE 5. 5 SP2 but I can't for the life of me remember the command line.

Great, just great. Here I hold off upgrading IE 5. 5 with SP2 for a few weeks because something is so often wrong with MS upgrades. Anyhow I just did it tonight as I hadn't heard about any probs and half an hour later I look at NT comp main page and find that the stupid SP2 shuts off Quick Time.

When i install it and reboot, win2k boots in standard vga mode. When i uninstall pcanywhere and reboot, the colors are normal again. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Ohw, i checked the compatibility database on this site and couldn't find an entry about PCanywhere 10, only about 9.
