Does anyone have an idea how to get old dos4gw games running under xp (and 2000) ? These games use Dos4GW instead of Msdos to boot up but since 2000 I haven't been able to start any of them. I'd really like to replay Duke though.

Anybody seen any links besides Anandtech regarding AMD cpus in dual? Just wondering how the regular 1. 4Ghz do in SMP compared to the MP versions or the P4 1. 7Ghz. .

I was wondering since Windows 2000 can use FAT32, I was wondering if during the WINNT4 setup, if you pressed F6 and loaded the Win2k FAT32 file system driver, that NT4 would use it and have it work with NT4, you would probably need to write an oemsetup.

Code Red patch + Divx Codec = bad?

Hello, I think there is a problem with Code Red patch. After I installed Code Red patch (both on my Win2k and my brother's Win2k) and then install Divx codec, Win2k give me blue screen at the startup every time and it repeats forever.

Voodoo 3 runs terribly under XP with Win drivers

With the drivers that came with XP RC2 my 3dfx Voodoo 3 2000 runs terrible. I have tried installing win98 and 2k drivers but it gives me errors on installin them. Basically i get choppy game play in need for speed 4 and 5.

Remove / Rearrange PCI Cards in WIN2k?

If I rearrange my pci cards, and boot back up into win2k, is there any harm done here? Do I need to reinstall SP2, or should things work out ok? VIA drivers need to be reinstalled?

I was just wondering if there's a way to tell Windows 2000 to shut down all the programs even though they might not respond to the SHUT DOWN command? I have 2 programs that don't always close when I select SHUT DOWN from the START MENU.

Hey guys; I recently upgraded to win2k, and I am having a fit trying to run my desktop tv PCI in it. I saw in the hardware compatibility page of this site that it should work with the specified drivers, but the only thing that I can do is intall it so that there are no conflicts, however it wont work with the program.
