MS Sidewinder Game Pad - Problem with win2k

I have Win2k Pro + SP3 installed When I install the game pad (it`s the old one with gameport) it just works fine. but after a random time of playing any game with the pad, suddenly the game minimizes and a New Hardware found dialog pops up.

Hi, I have a few problems playing games on my Toshiba laptop (wing 2k) I tried playing Simon the sorcerer 2 in Win2k on my laptop. I successfully entered the game but it always crashes without reason in a minute when I start playing it.

I got this drive free after a cleaning of a server room: These are the discs for it: From what I found, this drive was really only released to east markets. A google search for the model number returned only 3 hits, and 2 sites were in an asian language.

Where have all the good "random" RPGs gone?

I have played rpgs suck as Baldurs gate 1 and 2 and Icewind Dale and others and all I have to say is that I sorely miss the randomness of the older RPGs. Random attacks, random treasure, freedom to deviate from the script The more newer RPGs I play the more depressed I get.

How to set Home Clip in RealOne Player?

Ok this is not really a XP specific problem but since I am running XP pro I might as well ask the question here. Back in RealPlayer 8 you can set the Home Clip so a clip will play when you opened RealPlayer.
