Hi all, Hope someone can help me. I was doing some VB6 programming for a co-worker. I'm just learning this from the book so I don't know much. Here's what I did. I created a simple quoting matrix gride and the forms/formula works fine.

W2K Pro and Trident Blade 3D/MVP4 (63) Video Driver

I have just installed W2KPro with Svc Pack 3. I have everything running with the exception of not being able to find video drivers for my Trident Blade 3D/MVP4 (63) card. I have downloaded a file from the Trident site that SUPPOSEDLY is supposed to work.

A friend asked me this one, and I am stumped. I know that when your run the Network ID wizard in Win2K WS on a network with a Win2K server, at the end of the wizard, it asks you if the person should be granted higher privledges.

OK this time my Disk Cleanup doesn't seem to work anymore. When I click on it, it runs but then after a few seconds it stops loading. Everything is still running but I don't think it's searching for any files anymore.

Reconnecting Drives at BootUp - Weird Behavior

This problem affects a total of 5 computers. One machine is running Windows 2k Server; the other 4 are all running Windows XP Professional. The Win2k machine is a storage machine - it's harddrives are shared so the other 4 machines can store data in it.

Our company is about to migrate from NT4 to a W2K domain. I'm currently planning the migration and domain design. We will have an empty root domain with 3 child domains, one for each city. One of the cities will have 5 sites within the domain, separated by WAN links.

OK, ya my home network has been working fine for a loooong time now. . i have my computer the xp box accting like the server which is connected to the internet and i have two other 98se boxes connected to a hub then connected to my computer.

wierd networking problems

for some reason, when a 98 box is communicating (getting files and such) with my xp box, the NIC just dies, i have to reboot the XP box inorder to get it working again. 98 and XP boxes are all networked together and had worked up until now, they are all hooked up to the net via a router and switch.

It's an amazing game from like 1997. I'm running win2k SP2, and the last tiem I tried installing it, I ran into the weirdest problem: EVERY shortcut (new or existing) on my entire ssytem would NOT launch.

FSB (Front Side Bus) confusion

I have an AMD XP 1800+ and when running a cpu program, I get the following: CPU AMD Athlon XP/MP/4 1500 MHz FSB 133 MHz Memory 1024 MB Why does FSB say 133 Mhz when the processor is capable of 266 Mhz? Or am I confusing something here?

I wasn't able to change the size and location of my swap/page file, no matter what it would stay on the last location I had properly set it. I looked at the control to switch it and it says what it was supposed to put it to, but you back out one panel to where it just says the total and the button to change the vir ...

aight, i got 2 hard drives, C & F, The OS is on F. i am trying to configure my pagefile to be on C. F is smallish and dedicated just to OS, C is Big ass fast as hell SCSI raid. . . winxp will only put my pagefile on F.

Hi All, I've just upgraded my PC (XP2000+, MSI KT3 U2, 256M, GF4ti4200) and at the same time gone to a clean install of win2k (inc sp2). Most things work fine but I am having big problems with my scanner.
