Hey all well i am looking into ISP's in Costa Rica and well came across some, but i am not sure what the words mean as i added up exchnegs rates and it came out that i can get a T1 for $55 US a month, which i know can't be right!!!! and if it is!! woohooo!!.

breaking sound with SB Live! in XP

While playing in winamp or bsplayer sound breaks and continues play. This is happening many times during a movie or song. I'm not doing nothig else on computer. Integrated soundcard AC97 desn't do it.

XP connecting to 2000 Share

Hi, wonder is someone can help. Got a Windows 2000 machine acting as a simple file server, connected to a hub. . . inturn the hub is connected to a DSL Router which supplies DHCP for the network. 4 XP machines are connected to the hub, all of which can see each other.

restricting downloads

the office i work in is looking into restricting downloads of certain users. the network being run is SBS2K. the pc's are win98, 98SE & win2K. is there a way to do this with in SBS2K, or do i need some seperate software?.

Here's a link to an article over at Do It Yourself Games, this guy really hates video games. Here's a quip I took from FiringSquad. DIYG: A lot of people would argue that the difference there is that video games have never directly killed somebody.

Hi everyone, Does anyone know how to get Screamer 2 running on XP? I tried to get the resolution as low as possible as suggested before here in this forum, but lowest I can reach is 800x600. I also downloaded the Full Patch provided on But pressing S2.

RAM and XP

Which is better, 256mb of PC133 DRAM or 384mb of PC100 DRAM? Thoughts anyone? I do alot of digital video editing and photoshop work. A little gaming too. Athlon 1. 2ghz, VIA kt133, Geforce 2 64mb AGP.

HP 932 printer matching color to monitor

I replaced the color cartridge and the color balance is off. It leans towards green and the cooler/warmer only adjusts either the red or the blue. What I really need are separate RGB levels. Is there any program for printers to override the HP settings? I'm not talking about re-adjusting each and every image I want ...

Cannot delete sound files

After recording a few things from a tape deck, using my soundcard ofcourse, I can't delete some sound files I don't need. Every time I attempt to delete any of them I get a Error Deleting File or Folder error, stating that I Cannot delete : There has been a sharing violation.

I tried the Nvidia 40. 72 with Links 2003. After installing the Nvidia 40. 72, Links 2003 ran fast. . . however, I started to get some video glitches. The glitches seems to occur when changes were made on the screen.
