Hollywood Plus conflict with my Office XP Pro...

Morning all. I recently did a clean install of Win2K Pro. Prior to that I had WinME which for the most part ran quite well despite public opinion experiences. To say the least I had to load Win2K on for certain apps I needed that would only work with Win2K.

Nvidia 41.03 exist and fix bugs from whql version

Here is the news (in french) about this driver. In two words, it say that this drivers can't be d/l on nvidia web-site. This drivers fix lot of bugs from the last WHQL version. Here is a direct download link: Does you found problems with WHQL version? Does this new drivers realy fix it? Try and tell me.

Motherboard Problem

I hooked up a GA-7VAX board the other day with an AMD XP 2200+ When I boot it up, nothing displays, nothing runs, just the motherboard and cpu fans, as well as the power supply fan. It runs like this for 3 seconds, then it shuts itself off.

I read the info on this web page on how to get Viper Racing to work with 2000, but the setwin95. cmd doesn't work for me. Anybody get it to work and want to share their wealth of knowledge ?????!!!! This is what happens.

IBM 120GXP problem under win2000

Hello. I've just bought a 120gb disk from IBM. After many problems i finally got it formatted, but transfering and reading files from it is a big problem. It's slow and it's lagging the system completely down.

Soundblaster Live 5.1 LiveDrive + WinXP

Since I run WindowsXP it seems that my livedrive isn't recognized. No Auxilary2 and Headphones connect etc. I tried a lot of updates but didn't work. I have the Soundblaster Live 5. 1 Platinum card with IR LiveDrive.

UMAX Astra 2400S SCSI Converted to USB Adapter

Install USB2XChange adapter, software, UMAX driver. Windows 2000 unable to locate device. What's the problem. Working on this for (2) two days. What steps should I take to install scanner device. It also keeps asking for IMag Imaging devices under Windows 2000.

Hi , Iam using an ASus v3800 card with TV out But tv out wont work on winxp. If i installed the latest driver winxp wont load. PLease help. I tried disconnect monitor and connecting just tv Sarge.

No sound in Windows.NET

I recently installed Windows. NET Enterprise on my PC and noticed that I have no sound at all. Its dual boot, with XP, and the sound works fine when using XP. My soundcard is a Sound Blaster Platnum 5.

Please bear with my ignorance on this one: One server, using Windows2K, Active Directory. It was set up as the only server in the domain. Let's call it. yada. yada. local It is set up with a connection to a DSL router.

Windows 2000 Pro speed problem

I have recently installed Win 2000 Pro as I heard that it is faster than my Win98 i had previously. But i found that it runs much slower and often takes like a minute or so to open an app or change between apps while they are alredy open.
